“Modern luxury”

The NH Lingotto Tech is a very modern hotel in an old Fiat factory. If you are a car aficionado, this is a great hotel. Very close to the Auto museum. Also, it is across the street from Eataly, which is a fabulous gourmet grocery store with several casual restaurants inside. The hotel is a five minute metro ride from the center of the city and it is easy to jump on the autostrada to get to the rest of the area. For us, it was a great location.

“Like a Tech Environment?”

Great "modern" contrast after spending enjoyable days in traditional spots in the Lake District. Shopping and the foodie paradise "Eataly" nearby. Fun to shop in former Fiat factory setting. Staff is very attentive and we enjoyed good meals in restaurant in hotel. One quibble....it is out of main shopping area and taxi drivers had difficulty finding it as there are two Meridiens in vicinity. There was a van service to downtown on weekends, but not week days....maybe some limited service, esp. in AM would make location more attractive. That said, we were glad we chose it !

Area recommendations
All of the main squares in downtown Turin are worth a visit!

“Exciting development.”

Hotel is very modern located in old Fiat factory complex. Very comfortable but 15 minutes from Porta Nuova in the centre by bus. Comfortable rooms with good facilites. make sure you get the key to the roof of the complex,. This is where Fiat had their test track, still there but only for walkers/joggers. Great views of Alps and Town

Area recommendations
Duoma area and via Roma. Museums and Cafes and very pleasant arcaded walks with top class shops. Don't miss the Mole , Cinema museum, lift to top of dome for great views.
Getting there
We flew BA from Gatwick, flight was reasonably comfortable but don't expect to be fed! Bus to town centre costs 5.50 euros.

“Excellent modern hotel in interesting district”

We stayed here to be close to the Stadio Olimpico and because we were fascinated by the fact that it was built within the old Fiat factory. From the photos it looked very modern and spacious and we were not disappointed. The room was large and had all mod-cons. The breakfast was excellent as was the dinner we had on the first night. Staff were very friendly and helpful with great service and alos in supplying tourist, local and bus information. We have no hesitation i recommending this hotel, especially if you are interested in the way old industrial buildings have been converted to modern use, eg the two hotels, art galley and shopping centre and opposited the woderful Eatily in an old vermouth factory.

Area recommendations
The old town of Torino is where most of the culture is, but do lookaround the old arcades near the station and the park along the river.Great views from the Alpind museum by the oldmonastry on the hill on the opposite bank of the Po.
Getting around
Get a tourist card at the airport or main station for free entry to museums and use of local buses.

“Quality”

We arrived earlier than anticipated but our room was ready and the reception staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Would definitely recommend to others.

We attended a football match at the Olimpico Stadium which necessitated a taxi ride

“Outstanding hotel”

This was a wonderful hotel in which to stay. My colleagues thought the same. Brilliant service. Wonderful architecture, with lifts that have transparent walls enabling the hotel guest to have a panoramic view of different floors of the hotel. Our rooms were excellent: air-conditioned for the Turin heat; English-language TV stations (BBC World News, CNN, CNBC, etc.); 'triple' shower heads; spacious bathroom; large double beds (even for single occupancy); large desk space; excellent lighting, including overhead and desk lights that make reading easier. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price in my booking. Truly one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed. I'd happily stay there again.
