Great hotel, east access to Torun town

Rooms are good, with all you will need, comfy bed and en-suite. Spacious. Staff are really accommodating and speak English, which is helpful when your Polish speaking is as bad as mine :) Parking is easy. Lots of choice for breakfast Restaurant serves good food and you must try Torun cake. Stayed for 5 nights, short walk into town, regular trams further afeild. Old town Torun is such an historic place, beautiful, plenty to see, very safe and relaxed. Lots of great food and shopping (although i was here for work)

This is an older property but is well maintained. The staff here are excellent, and the restaurant was outstanding. The only complaint really is that there weren't many plugs in the room. You'd have to unplug something to plug something else in. More of an inconvenience than anything else really.

People and standards were great, location is perfect. The rooms just lacked a little user friendliness. The tray with the kettle I had to put on the floor u see the desk as it was the only plug it would reach if I wanted to keep the tv plugged in and no plug sockets near the bedside tables. The bar closed at 10pm and the hotel generally felt like it was on a cost saving, including the room aircon. Lovely hotel. Perfect location, wonderful team, worth the small inconveniences as great price too

The hotel is desperately in need of refurbishment. Reception staff both at check in and check out were not friendly. Arrival was greeted with "yes"? And no how was you stay at check out, just "ok bye". I had a superior room,not sure what made it superior, it was small, the bed was quite hard, the bathroom was tiny the floor was soaked by the shower,looked intentional as it was wet room style. The shower head hadn't been cleaned in a while and half the holes were blocked. AC wasn't particularly effective 23½° on arrival 21.2°after being on continually for 48hrs! Breakfast was just about acceptable, no toaster, no yoghurt, cereal selection practically empty both mornings. The lifts looked like Copernicus used them. The only positive is that its a short walk to the marvellous old town. I will return to Toruń but I won't stay here.

Mercure in Toruń was okay for a short stay, but the property definitely needs an update. Like many Accor hotels, the experience can be hit or miss—some locations feel modern and refreshed, while others, like this one, are showing their age. The basics were covered, but I expected a bit more from the brand.

Furniture and carpets are dated however it's quite clean hotel. We got a great price for 2 days stay so can't complain. I recommend you take a short walk to the city centre for a meal instead of eating in the hotel as the food is not great.
