“Awesome service”

When we arrived I discovered that I had booked and paid for the wrong date. They had available rooms and Alison, who was working at the desk, knew what steps to take and was able to complete the transaction with Expedia to correct MY mistake. It was after midnight when all this took place so needless to say I was very happy with the service of both Expedia and Hampton Inn.

“family friendly, very clean and great service for the money”

I would definitiely stay at the Hampton again. The kids loved the pool and breakfasts :)

“Avery nice place to stay”

This is a nice hotel ..it was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and polite .. it was convienent and close to restaurants and shopping... I would stay here again in a minute...

“A great stay!”

“Good Hotel!”

Great stay here. The only thing is the beds are really soft. I prefer a harder mattress but it is doable. They are really nice, it is very clean and the breakfast is good. The coffee is of good quality!!

“Lawrence Hampton Inn”

great location, nice hot bkfst and even a grab and go for a brown bag meal later on.

“Lawrence stay”

The excercise room was a plus as was the clean pool. The free internet was great too. The breakfast buffet was excellent, in that it offered many choices, and healthy choices. The TV schedule was not accurate, but I didn't mind, and the bathroom floor was not cleaned everytime. I would recommend this place though to anyone, and i would stay there again.

Area recommendations
I would recommend downtown Lawrence. There are wonderful local eateries, many wonderful and diverse shops to meander through, and it is absolutely charming with it's tree lined streets, awning covered storefronts, and friendly pedestrian crossings. The only problem is that they charge for parking mostly everywhere, and there is a two hour limit on all the meters. Watch out for that!

“A great pick in Lawrence!”

Our stay was great! The hotel was VERY clean, the beds are super comfy and the breakfast buffet is AWESOME. I have a 17 year old son and it was great to have a space for him to hang out and watch sports while I was in the room. The pool was clean, and I really appreciated having FREE access to the internet. I highly recommend this location to anyone.

Area recommendations
We attended a basketball tournament being held at Lawrence MS and HS. The hotel is close to KU. From what we could see the general surrounding neighborhood was all right.
