This place is trash. Big dumpster full of trash at the door. Had to move that to get in. Room stunk. Whole are smelled like weed. Comforter was dirty. Holes in the wall near the bed. Didn’t feel safe. Needless to say we requested a refund and left.

What I did like was the night guy was very nice. What I did not like was, I didn't know I got a second floor and there was no elevator and there was no way I could carry my suitcase up the stairs. The guy once again gave me a first floor room with a $10 upgrade, I got to the room.. Turned on the light and notice a big blood stained under my sheet and the bed mattress. Cover. I called the front desk.He offered to switch rooms or bring me bedding. And I could do it because he was the only one here I offered to do it. He did not bring me a mattress pad. I scrubbed down the headboard because it was very disgusting. I'm just not overall, pleased

People behind the desk were friendly. Room wasn't cleaned besides the sheets being changed and the towels being fresh. There was a french fry on the ground. The toilet wasn't cleaned either. Good water pressure from the shower. Water was hot. The sink was the opposite, hardly any pressure.

Room and lobby was clean and smelled clean. Hallways and all areas on the property seemed to be clean and tidy. The only issue was receptionist was busy training someone informally, assuming the manager came in after lunch and was surprised he had a new employee. Was very awkward and basically asked "do we need new people ughhhhhhh" Great way to start a new job... Also took them awhile to find a "clean" room due to lack of staff but I waited at least 10 mins before someone said anything to me about what is happening once I finally asked "should I come back?" but that didnt change my stay overall, I would come back again.

It was a reasonable price at short notice. It was a comfortable. The access to the hotel was hard to find. Better signs might help. An empty building blocking the view been demolished and removed.

Give it some tlc before it gets too run down.
We have stayed here for business once a year for several years. The property is definitely starting to get run down. Although a nonsmoking hotel. You could smell the smoke in the hallways. Wifi definitely sucked! Could use a spruce up with fresh paint and the bed was lumpy. There was maid service surprisingly unlike some of the other hotels we stay at, so that was a plus. Not bad, but could be better.

Run away from this Red Roof
This motel is a mess in so many ways: room smelled like old ashtrays, the towels were threadbare, the power went out for almost an hour. These were just minor. Was woke up by the Maumee Police at 12:45 am asking if someone was OD in my room. What kind scum place is this?

Toledo Red Roof Inn isn't in a great area. Its a very run down and dirty area. The staff is ok, but nobody goes above and beyond by any means. With this negative information, I will say the rooms are very clean and stocked well. For the money, Its a good bet

I didn't like the fact that there was no iron and no iron board in the room. The furniture was terrible especially the chairs. I couldn't sit in them. I told the housekeeper. Nothing done. Was there for 2 days. Also the smell was horrible in the hall. The air conditioner in the room was so loud couldn't sleep. Website said free breakfast - there was nothing. It's the only reason I chose the hotel.

We sometimes stay at Red roof locations when we travel with our dog because of a better than average dog policy. This location is a bit run down though. The room was a bit smokey which happens at many locations when the cleaning staff smokes. The parking lot had lots of people hanging out in their cars which was weird and unsafe feeling. Lots of people outside smoking pot. The room was mostly clean, but the bed was saggy and years beyond it's replacement date.

The room smelled of smoke. It was renovated so it could be in the paint. After the air ran for a few minutes it wasn't as noticeable. The building itself is older and was sloppily painted to make it look better (lipstick on a pig). The staff were kind but did not ask if it was ok to charge the card the reservation was made on (I wanted to use a different one). I was asked for my license and 30 secs later was handed the keys and receipt. Overall, the place was quiet; the parking lot needs repaving; its located near empty commercial property which gives more places for larger vehicles to park but there's no lighting; the upstairs is enclosed with LED lighting for the hallway; and the room doors should have the security locks engaged to ensure safety because of the wear and paint buildup (don"t touch - walls are sticky). The owners tried by installing more modern sinks and partially putting in cheap wood flooring. It's a job that needs more effort, not a band-aid. They tried.

I liked the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room the comfortable beds, soft towels and the quietness. Also that it is conveniently located right by the Thruway. I didn't like the musty/ moldy smell in the room and the very slow internet connection (maybe because we were at the end of the building and far away from the office?)

There were people outside in the parking lot just loitering, and getting high. The bed had black spots on the sheets possibly dirt or bedbugs not sure which. When I pulled the sheet back to further investigate the mattress had a huge stain on it that looked like blood or poop. Just a bad uncomfortable place to stay.
