"Mozambeat is a charming little hideout. Perfect spot to start your exploration of the Tofo area. The staff was friendly and helpful when suggesting things to do in the area. They have a nice area where guests can mingle over breakfast or late afternoon drinks. Went over low season so missed out on their famous parties and movie nights but enjoyed their ocean safari discount offer they have with PeriPeri divers which was worthwhile and one of the best afternoons in my stay. Highly recommend...

"Sheets were dirty. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily. . There was a power cut and they don’t have a generator so no electricity or running water (hot or cold) for 12 hours or so. Disappointing."

The location is good, fairly close to the beach, the restaurant is lively with a great view, but my room didn't look like it had been cleaned properly. I found a few earbuds and bottle tops on the floor. The sink was blocked and had to be cleaned out. The room was really nothing else but a room, and everything about it seemed worn and old. The casitas are so close together and walls so thin that I could hear everything coming from both...
