“Brilliant location”
Couldn't fault the hotel - staff extremely helpful. The hotel overlooks Bryant Park which was an oasis in a busy city. A great place to sit in the sun and rest those weary legs after a hectic day. Le Pain Quotidien next door does a great breakfast.
“WORTH EVERY PENNY”
Our 3rd visit in 3 years...we paid for a view of Bryant Park and it was well worth it. Currently there are free drinks from 5 to 6 in the bar which helped make the price seem less extravagant. For its class this hotel is best value in NY...thus 7th on TRIPADVISOR
“Great Location”
Top class hotel, great staff, fantastic view over park and skating rink.Stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and New Year.Rooms with a view is a must.
“fantastic hotel recommend anyone to go there”
This hotel is worth booking for your stay in new york it is a classy hotel with super rooms with large beds and bathrooms the views we had of bryant park were wonderful. The staff were very helpfull and polite at all times and couldent do enough for us. We had room service on a couple of occasions and the food was lovely and again great service was to be had. The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing as it is within walking distance of several attractions. Also the hotel bar in the basement is a big lively bar with waitress service and for guests there is a free bar mon to friday from 5pm to 6pm. This hotel i cant recommend enough as me and my wife had a truly wonderful stay.
“Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Location”
Great location for seeing New York plus nice to have green space (Bryant Park) right outside. Room clean, modern and minimalist; Cellar Bar very cool and free drinks for hotel guests very welcome!
“Great Hotel in a Great Location”
For a leisure visit to New York City, Bryant Park is a tough location to beat and an oasis of New York style calm in the middle of New York style chaos. Along the W40th edge of the park itself, there are enough fantastic delis to keep you happy at breakfast and lunch, and a tremendous park to eat them in, and people watch. With Times Square, 5th Avenue Shopping, Macys, Empire State, Grand Central Station and Madison Sq Gardens all within walking distance, you couldn't ask for a better base. The hotel itself is stylish and cool; if the W hotel were truly a boutique hotel, it would be the Bryant Park. If a stylish hotel - great staff, great lighting and decor and sultry rooms and corridors - is your thing, Bryant Park delivers in heaps. If on the other hand, you like a hotel where you walk through a front door and take an elevator to your room, Bryant Park delivers also. The rooms juxtapose brilliantly with the hotel - swapping dark and moody corridors, atmospheric lighting and cool music with calm whites, polished wooden floors, modern audiovisuals and stylish glass, metal and travertine bathrooms that never disappoint, whichever room you get. As a hub for events like Fashion week, Bryant Park can seem pricey; but consider that you're paying for location, atmosphere, service and all of the little details that make or break the memory, and you won't regret it. And finally; spend some time ensuring the door staff and concierge get to know you, and use them well- they're great.
“Beautiful hotel in excellent location”
A classic building on W40th Street, with spacious rooms, excellent, friendly and very helpful staff. Located across street from Bryant Park, a well maintained green space in centre of the city, would not hestitate to recommend to any traveller seeking quality accomadation in New York. The room I was allocated was well maintained and exceptionally clean, and I will definatly use this hotel again.
