“€17 taxi or 1bus/hour to get there from train station”

You have to pay for internet, furniture old not at 4 starts level. located at 35 minutes from train station and a bus runs every 1h or a taxi at €17/ ride. Nothing interesting. I arrived at 1am and decided to cancel my stay after the first night and the night receptionist agreed but next morning I was refused to cancel my stay. I spent over €70 in transport between Weimar and the hotel in 2.5 days.

“wonderful relaxing stay, away from the city”

this hotel is situated on the outskirts of weimar away from the centrum it is a large complex for a european hotel the swimming pool, sauna and steam room were very inviting after hours in the car our main purpose to stay in this location was to visit the Buchenwald Memorial superb accomodations easy to get to the memorial with our car rental did not have time to visit the city breakfast was a bit spendy as it was not included in our room rate - but it was a beautiful breakfast buffet

“Good value for your money”

The hotel is nearer to the highway than beautiful old Weimar. Ideal accomodation for the business traveller. Nice selection of food during breakfast.

Traveller's tip
make use of the indoor pool and spa facilities. Perfect hotel for business travellers that need to relax after a long day in the car.

“Would go back again”

Good hotel close to the Autobahn with big parking space. Just a short drive to Weimar City (10min). Comfortable beds, good service and good choice at the breakfast buffet. The only slightly negative thing was a tiny TV?! Would go there again and did recommend it already to other people.

“Erholsamer Aufenthalt”

Es ging nicht so gut los: für unsere vierköpfige Familie gab es ein Doppelzimmer mit Aufbettung. Die Klappcouch war für zwei 11 bzw. 9jährige Kinder nicht akzeptabel. An der Rezeption hat man das aber eingesehen und uns dann 2 Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Man war allgemein sehr hilfsbereit und serviceorientiert. Für Erholung sorgte dann der schöne Wellnessbereich mit Indoor-Pool, im Preis inbegriffen. Gut besucht, aber nicht überfüllt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls reichhaltig und gut. Das Hotel liegt nahe der Autobahn, aber absolut ruhig (die A4 ist 1 km entfernt). Ideal für einen Zwischenstopp. Wer nach Weimar möchte, muss das Auto oder ggf. den Bus nehmen.

Area recommendations
In Weimar kann man auf Goethes und Schillers Spuren wandeln. Unbedingt besuchenswert ist auch Erfurt mit der schönen Altstadt, Dom und Severikirche, Krämerbrücke. Geheimtipp: die Alte Synagoge mit dem jüdischen Schatz.

“Park Inn gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge”

Hotel liegt nur 10 min Autofahrt vom Stadtkern Weimar entfernt. Keine Parkplatzprobleme (kostenlos vorm Haus). Das Hotel selbst ist ganz in Ordnung, man merkt ihm aber schon seine Jahre an. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer in Ordnung, Zimmerservice macht sauber und die Betten, mehr aber nicht. TV von der normalen preiswerten Sorte, Fernbedienung schwer bis gar nicht bedienbar. Preise der Getränke aus der Minibar wie so oft unzumutbar (stilles Wasser für 3.50). War am ersten Tag auch nicht vollständig gefüllt (BIer und Sekt fehlte, wollte man uns aber in Rechnung stellen). Sauna war gut, Schwimmbad zu kalt. Handtücher mußte man umständlich von der Rezeption holen. Essen gut bis sehr gut! (wenn man davon absieht, daß statt der bestellten Linsensuppe eine Pilzcremesuppe gebracht wurde). Buffet abends haben wir zwar nicht gegessen, sah aber sehr gut aus! Insgesamt aber trotz der geringen Abstriche sehr zu empfehlen!

Area recommendations
Ausflüge nch Wemar sind natürlich ein Muß, auch an mehreren Tagen. Anna Amalia Bibliothek muß aber ca. 6 Monate vorher gebucht werden. Weiter zu empfehlen ist natürlich Mahn- und Gedenkstätte Buchenwald. Bad Frankenhausen mit dem schiefen Kirchturm und der Schokoladenmanufaktur (LECKER!!!). Erfurt mit seiner Innenstadt ist natürlich auch eine Tagesreise wert (überbaute Brücke, Dom, ganze Innenstadt...). Weitere Ausflüge kann man natürlich auch in den herrlichen Thüringer Wald machen, z.B. Masserberg.

“Das Hotel liegt 5 km von Weimar, der Bus nach Weimar hält vor der Tür.”

Super Hotel, jederzeit wweiter empfehlen, nur der Bus nach Weimar fährt bis 20.30 Uhr abends.

“super service, tolles zimmer, super preis”

wir hatten ein sehr schönes doppelzimmer, sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. alle service-mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. das frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut und der kaffee hat geschmeckt (was oft bei hotels ein problem ist... ) wir können das park-inn in weimar sehr empfehlen, die lage in der nähe der autobahn ist sehr praktisch, bis weimar ins centrum sind es knapp 10 minuten. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, vielen dank dafür.

Area recommendations
weimar ist auf jeden fall eine reise wert. wer es sich traut bzw. sich zumutet sollte auch das kz buchenwald besuchen. allerdings ist das nichts für schwache nerven.
