Having visited Thessaloniki before and able to navigate it on my own, Gatto Perso was perfect. "This is an odd property, more like a (small) collection of apartments than an hotel. The building is generally unstaffed - I saw no one while I was there (though e-mails were answered promptly). My apartment was oddly designed, with a kitchenette that was rather bigger than I needed, the toilet next to the kitchenette, and a shower right in front of the (glass) door. There was also a mini-sauna, which I also didn't need. There was nowhere to hang clothes, or indeed to hang wet towels after use....

"The location was great. It was on the major shopping street and it’s few blocks away from the water front and there is a parking lot around it if you arrive by a car. The room was roomie and there are lots of dining options close by. The staffs were very informative and friendly. "
