I stayed at this LaQuinta 6 years ago and liked it. I was disappointed this time.
The hot tub they used to have got paved over. The first room I was given smelled so strongly of ammonia that I couldn’t use it. The second room smelled like industrial cleaner and gave me a headache. The bathtub had a loud consistent drip. There were sticky stains just outside of the door. A maintenance worker pounded on the door next to mine and called maintenance so loudly I thought it was for me. That gave me the jumps at 7am on a Saturday morning.
With all of that in mind I’m still giving it 4 stars because of the attentive and pleasant staff. They accommodated me with my second room quickly and kindly. Everyone I spoke with was respectful. The woman preparing breakfast was friendly and efficient.
