October 2023!!!! Do not book here! They haven’t been in business since the pandemic. GO BOOK TO Hotel De Las Animas! It’s closer, nicer and great! They’re under the same owner so it’s not like I’m not supporting. They just need to take down this listing until further notice. I even called two days before coming to make sure and someone picked up to let me know everything was good, luckily a nice gentleman gave us the heads up upon arrival. Guided us and told us where to go. We heard it’s a nice establishment but unfortunately we didn’t get to experience it.

Our stay was rerouted to Hotel Solar De Las Animas. I gave a low rating in staff but let me explain. Solar De La Animas is a 5 star plus resort including all the staff. My issue is, we arrived early and asked if we could check in early. All the staff we met in person from the young man who parked our car Michael Flores to the young lady at the check in counter Laura Esporza were amazingly professional and courteous and made us feel very special and appreciated. This is the type of service you only dream about and appreciate the effort and care the management that has trained and provided the environment needed to provide this level of service We were early and they invited us to use the pool and the restaurant as well as the bar at our convivence. They were awesome and the Bartender was great He made awesome Margaritas. My only compliant is, and unfortunately it was a decision made by supervisor. All the while having superior employees working under them. After we had a few margaritas and were getting tired. I asked the young lady at the check in counter Laura if it was possible to check in early, at that point we would have checked in 1 1/2 hours early. Laura called a Supervisor named Anita and asked if we could check in early. The Supervisor asked how we made the reservation. Anita found out we used Expedia she said we would have to pay $100. for the 1 1/2 hour early check in. NOT GOOD MAJOR FAIL. I hope Expedia Management will do something to fix this decision.

First off the hotel we booked is being remodeled so they moved us to their bigger nicer hotel. Great customer service. Right next to the main plaza, church and Jose Cuervo tequileria. Nice, small roof top pool but with a nice view. Would definitely stay again

It's a lovely property a real oasis, the buildings and grounds are beautiful. The restaurant had a nice Sunday Buffet. The staff is abundant but not very attentive to the needs of the guests.

Beautiful Hotel but the beds were really uncomfortable. I kept waking up at night because the mattress was really hard. I woke up with back and hip pain because it was that uncomfortable. Our room was near a walkway and so I was woken up early because of all the noise. People walking by, staff with a cart passing frequently, and the staff watering the plants on the other side of the wall from our room.

Unique boutique hotel on beautifully maintained grounds. Excellent restaurant. Great area to relax by the pool. Friendly and helpful staff. We would especially like to thank Elda Orihuela for her insight and overall helpfulness. Easy walking distance to town centre (square) and very safe. We booked the Aguamiel room not realizing just how small it is (no closet). I would not recommend this category unless you are only doing an overnight stay. We would go for one of the larger (more expensive) categories. That was our only negative.

This hotel is a stunning experience. The restaurant food is excellent. Rooms are a little cramped if you have any kind of disability. I do. Would recommend this hotel just for the experience alone!

Awesome hotel and restaurant
An amazing hotel owned by Jose Cuervo. Right in the heart of tequila, walking distance to some great restaurants, watering holes and artisans. We will definitely be going back.

The grounds are gorgeous, and nicely landscaped. The outdoor dining area was also lovely and inviting. The rooms were tastefully decorated and quiet. The only problem was the internet access. We constantly lost the wifi connection and had to reconnect.

The hotel was very very nice. Beautiful archways and plants/fruit trees lining walkways, clean and tidy rooms. The hotel has very fees rooms which makes everything seem much more private. Some other reviews complained about how small the rooms are--the rooms are small but not clustrophobic or anything, there's plenty of room to manuver around the room. The service was outstanding, from check-in to the restaurant to check-out. The staff was professional, pleasant, and extremely helpful. Additionally, it has a private parking lot with a guard so you know your car is secure, and is within walking distance of the center square. The restaurant is a great value with very tasty food, although more vegetarian options would have been nice. Overall, it was an exceptional hotel that we would definitely stay at again.

Overall beautiful hotel. The room furniture(armario) was too big taking up to much space. The room needed better lighting somewhat dark. Distance to center was about a 5-7 min walk. We enjoined a preset valentines dinner and it was great food excellent quality. Front desk staff helped us with adding an extra night to our stay

Everything was amazing at this hotel. Service, cleanliness, amazing staff. Great breakfast. Need dry cleaning services they were able to steam iron my dress and husbands suit for only $5. Super recommended.
