“Temple Texas Brightest Star”

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Temple Texas. We were not expecting the beds to be comfort sleepers with adjustable controls, what a pleasant surprise. The front desk clerk greeted us with a smile and was extremely helpful. You can see the mall from the Hotel and the area is beautiful. we will stay here again.

“Great Stay!”

The best nights' sleep we've had in a long, long time. The hotel was located just two blocks from my sister's home and two blocks from my nephew's home. It was central to everything we needed and conveniently located off a major road. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was helpful, friendly, and attentive. It was a great hotel. My sis and her hubby want to spend a weekend there now, too! Any way you can get them the same great rate we had? Just couldn't beat it. I'd stay there again and again when I'm back in the area.

We stayed during Memorial Day weekend. We arrived late and expected to eat in their restaurant. The restaurant was closed for the Memorial Day holiday; however, they would be serving breakfast. I was shocked! I have never been to a hotel restaurant that was closed for a holiday unless it was Christmas, even still..? The air conditioner in the room some how manages to blow directly in your face when you are in bed and then shuts off until you are too hot and uncovered only to re-start the whole process over again! After a less than comfortable night's sleep, we decided to try to the breakfast buffet that closed at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day Monday. We got there right before they were to close. Got some food and ordered an omlet from an unfriendly cook. The food server came to tell us she was about to put things away if we wanted to get anything else, we should do so. Sorry, I've worked in buffet places and as long as people are eating, you DO NOT take the food down. Then, more people showed up, were told the buffet was closed & apparently the typical Mon-Fri hours are to close at 11 am. The poor server had not been told closing time was 11a.m. She had to re-set everything. She confirmed that communication in the hotel between staff and management was not always most effective. It's a nice hotel. It was clean, but I think I'll do some shopping around before I stay there again.

Very clean well kept property. staff was very courteous and helpful. Located near many restaurants and shopping. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

“Nice, clean hotel”

The hotel was nice and conveniently located across the street from the hospital. The rate is a little high not to include breakfast, and I wasn't willing to pay for the breakfast, but the fridge and microwave in the room made it convenient to bring in something. I am not sure I would call this a full service hotel, but we were VERY pleased with our room and with guest services. The indoor pool and hot tub were a plus, as well.
