“A spa-like oasis”

From the second we walked in we felt welcome. Every staff member made eye contact, smiled at us and greeted us. The hotel was easy to find, conveniently located, and attractive inside and out. The room felt like a spa-like oasis and was impressively clean. The space was well laid out and not an inch was wasted. Every detail was looked after, even down to the alarm clock that doubled as an iPod dock/charging station. Even though we were close to the elevator, we heard no noise from other guests. Being just about a mile from Governors Square Mall was an added benefit. We rested well, enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet the next morning, and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers or people hosting guests from out of town.

Area recommendations
Tallahassee definitely has something for everyone - great museums, beautiful parks and gardens, excellent shopping, historical sites nearby, and lively, eclectic night life.

“Good choice for an overnight stay.”

The room comfort, breakfast and cleanliness were excellent. Evidently in the interest of space, the bathroom had a rather strange layout. There were two plumbing facilities with sliding doors. One area had the toilet and a sink, the other a shower and sink, without a direct connection between the two areas. It's not a deal-breaker, but hotels should find a better way to economize on square footage. I would stay there again, though.

Area recommendations
Railroad Square offers a collection of delightfully offbeat galleries and shops. Keep in mind that most do not open until afternoon. On the first Friday of each month, many of them stay open at night. Railroad Square is just off Railroad Avenue, close to the Amtrak station and the entrance to Florida A&M University.

“Highlly Recommend”

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the staff could not have been nicer and more courteous and helpful.
