"1sr we got in very late so we called to find out where the gare code was located. It was pitch black and no lighting. The person on the other end was super rude. Told me had i been there at 4pm like i was supposed to i wouldn't have this problem, what? Then we finally find it and get t9 the property of which the driveway was washed completely out. "Three generations enjoyed a brief getaway in Ellijay. Plenty of room for us. Very quiet location (except for occasional barking dog next door). Owners were very attentive. One note: after sundown, the living and dining areas are quite dark—perhaps a couple of torchiere lamps could be added. Loved the outdoor fire ring and seating!"

Ice machine is just outside in the parking lot. The owners were helpful in giving us maps to the town and recommending local restaurants. The grounds are clean, tidy, and streamlined. After carefully reviewing local reviews, it’s important to note that this is is a motel, not a major franchised hotel like hilton. This is a locally owned, personally managed motel, and it is clear that the owners take great pride in a clean and comfortable stay. We slept soundly and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. They were available for any issues we had, and luckily we did not have any to speak of. We camp and stay in/near Ellijay often and Ellijay Inn will most definitely be a place we return to in the future. Can’t wait to come back! "
