we booked a 3 bedroom apartment and were checked into a 2 bedroom apartment, when we told reception they argued what we had paid for. Once we showed them our receipt then they checked us into a 3 bedroom apt and were not happy about it. We had also requested 2 queen beds and 2 singles and got 1 queen bed and 4 singles, the airconditioner also didn't work. The apartment was clean and nice but their attitude at reception certainly detracted from our stay.
If you're after a peaceful and relaxing spot then this is it. The view from my 1 bedroom unit was just perfect (admittedly, I was lucky enough to be given a top-floor - Floor 10 - room!) The calm water views changed hourly - spectacular sunrises and sunsets, people fishing, boats, canoes and paddleboards. Walking along the beachfront paths was a daily pleasure. Everything was very clean and well-presented with the Unit providing everything I could need. Specially loved the sheets - wish I'd checked the brand.
On the way out of Coolum heading north Seachange is situated just right with that balance of quieter location but within walking distance of all that you require. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom with the rooftop spa and all was spot on. With a 14 month old in tow, having the separate bedroom and full kitchen facilities was ideal, nice views from the rooftop across the water and south into Coolum.
