Pros: Pool, Sauna, ease of getting in/out of drive, close shopping.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: Lake Dillon, music festival, hiking, biking.
Upon arrival, there was a large group who came in a bus. The hotel was booked full. Even though we had made a reservation in advance, they tried to put us in a basement room that smelled very strongly of mold. They even had the door propped open and a fan in the room trying to get the smell out. We refused and after 30 mins of waiting, the manager was able to get us a room on the 5th floor. That room was clean and no problems. Enjoyed the pool area and shopping nearby.

Pros: Everything except below
Cons: Hottub water was very foamy (not just a little) and thus likely dirty. Water needed to be changed.
Close to the Dillon reservoir, nice staff, nice roomsn nice exercise room and pool.

Small beds for the price and only some pet rooms

Posted 18-Jul-2015
Pros: The pool and hot tub is nice for the kids.
Cons: Get a generator back up so when the power goes out for an extended time, the customer is not without power. People couldn't check in while the power
Location: The Frisco Adventure Park is close and is a great place to go snow tubing, XC skiing, BMX bike riding, skateboarding and other outdoor activities.
We booked two rooms with a lake view and we had our small dog with us. Booking on Expedia it didn't say anything about only ground floor rooms were pet rooms. Both rooms we paid extra for the lake view. When we checked in, they changed out rooms, since we only had one dog, one room was on the 6th floor and the other was on the ground floor. The front desk did reduce our $50 pet fee to make up the difference for the "lake view" room we didn't get to have. The room was nice, but the beds were only doubles. The bathroom fan was not effective, the shower steamed it up really bad and didn't clear for some time. The hotel has a restaurant and we had breakfast the next morning, but it is not included. It was fine, but it would be nice if they had some grab and go stuff instead of just complimentary coffee. The power was out for an extended time in the evening. We left to go else ware for dinner, but without a backup generator, people couldn't check in.

Room was small. Too hot without AC and too cold with it. Too slick in bottom of bathtub. Front desk people were nice and helpful but went to breakfast and no one showed up to wait on us.

The staff was awesome! Very accommodating. Just made life so simple. Restaurant was also great with large portions and reasonable prices. Would stay again for sure.

Good Service.

Lower rooms were a little funky with no windows outside. We had an air conditioner that wasn't working, but they definitely made it right and actually upgraded us to a nicer room with a balcony. Very nice. The service was very prompt and professional.

great place to stay. not only clean and comfortable we also met some of the nicest people working there. in our travels we have stayed at some nice places but the front desk is so sour and unfriendly that I know we will never stay there again. this holiday Inn were the best and friendliest I've met in a long time. keep up the great work and we'll be back soon
