“I'll be back!”

Good hotel with great facilities and friendly staff. Good size room but very small bathroom.

“Nice hotel, but the Internet price is taking the mick!”

Overall satisfield with this hotel, although without a car you would struggle to find anywhere else to go and eat if you wished. My only gripe is the price of Internet access. I'm not allowed to quote it here, but the cost was outrageous. I appreciate this hotel is aimed at the business person who probably doesn't care about the price as he/she isn't paying the bill, but it is way to high for a leisure traveler. This resulted in me going elsewhere to eat as a protest. If other chains can offer free Internet, why not Holiday Inn? It's inevitable that this will eventually happen!

“Really Good Stay”

Very friendly staff. We slept very soundly as it was suprisingly quiet especially for a hotel this size and the fact it was school holidays. Lovely pool and gym - what a bonus Shame we booked to go to dinner at 6.30 with reception only to turn up and be told by the restaurant they don't open until 7.00! Good Veggie room service menu. Loved getting complimentary chocolate and water every day. What a lovely special touch. Good base to go and explore suffolk.

“Ipswich`s finest!”

Everything was excellent, especially the staff, whgo all went out of their way to be friendly & helpful. The room, as was the rest of the hotel, was clean & weel-designed. The only slight grumble was the shower curtain. It was placed too close to the wall & fitted only small size people, of which I am not one. Apart from that all was excellent.

“Great base for exploring the area”

Was pleasantly suprised at the Holiday Inn when checking in late on Friday night as although bar and dining room obviously busy the sound did not carry to our twin room which was also much larger than anticipated . The hotels leisure facilities were a real bonus as was the late check out on Sunday so we could use these to the maximum . The hotel is well situated for access to main routes into the surrounding countryside and I will definately be visiting the area again for a weekend break .Particularily enjoyed the vegetarian goan curry on Saturday night as well .

“The best nights sleep!”

Hotel very easy to get to if driving from Stansted airport as we were, but on the outskirts to get in to town if you don't have a car. Very quiet and peaceful sleep in very large room with excellent bathroom. Very clean, extremely friendly staff - and the best bit - a choice of pillow! There is a 'pillow menu' where you can select the shape and depth of the pillow you would like, perfect for everybody's 'great night sleep'.
