"The cottage was in a very scenic and peaceful setting which suited us. We used the cottage as a base for some local walks and other walks further afield. We discovered that the cottage was about 10 miles from the nearest main road and it took about 30 to 40 minutes of driving on a single track road to get to the main road. The nearest grocery stores were in Lochinver. There was quite a lot of traffic on the single track road,with people visiting the lovely beaches at Auchmelvich and Clactoll....

"The cottage is on a hill side overlooking the harbour and the views from the small deck are beautiful at anytime.the drive up to the cottage is extremely steep and narrow and the turning point at the top is limited.
