“Not impressed”

The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. However, the floor in our room was stained, lighting terrible, tap in the bath tub almost impossible to turn on and the bed was obviously pretty old and not firm. Other than that everything was fine. We expected more being a Best Western.

“Certainly will not plan a return.”

This was the most disappointing reservation in recent memory. The entrance closest to the room was a water logged carpet. The odor was NOT welcoming. The room was damp with an unpleastant smell. The bed had more than one broken spring.

“Quant little town, romantic.”

The hotel reiminded me of a little lodge, a friendly fire burning in a large stone fireplace as we arrived.. The pool has adult hours from 10 to midnight , which was really nice. The continental breakfast offered a great variety like make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy among other things.

“Disgusting!!! Never will go back!!!”

It was disgusting!!!! Sheets had stains on them, the night desk worker was really rude, we ended up switching rooms because toilet would not flush in first room and they said they would fix it but didn't. The wireless that they offer inroom does not work so was not able to get on the internet on my lap top and they didn't know how to fix the issue, also smoke detector was hanging by the wires, the hotel in all needs a major remolding and replacement of hotel staff that is more friendly!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

“Will not go back”

I was greeted with friendly staff, but check out was a different story. My room had awful stains of some sort on the white box spring covers (both beds). I know that you don't sleep directly on these, but it was a very unsettling feeling. It was noticeable when I pulled the covers back, and made me uneasy. The breakfast area was a mess the next morning. Muffins all over the floor, tables were dirty, and the area was not checked on once while I was there. I went to the front desk to voice my concerns over my room and the breakfast area, but there was a sign stating that staff was not available-so please check back. I know that times are tight-but this was a Sunday morning! I did voice my concerns at check out, and asked for a manager to review and get back to me. I never heard from the hotel.

“The heating system .... & the shower head”

It was too warm and we could regulate heat. The showerhead needed replacing. I reported these things to the Desk clerk when checking out.

“Unique smells and Uncomfortable Moisture”

The Front Desk Staff was nice and easy, but the room we were in smelled faintly of feces every 30 seconds or so, the A/C wasn't pulling any moisture out of the air (I think it was adding moisture to the air actually) and the carpet was sticky and damp. The Sheets cause my girlfriend to get a rash, so those with sensitive skin might want to bring their own blanket. The bed sags in the middle, but is excellent at bringing you and your partner closer together (plus or minus TBD). I've been to other best westerns that were much nicer than this one... It is a deal, but may cost you some sleep...
