There was a mixup with our room and the staff was quite unfriendly and unhelpful about it. The room we got had a broken sofa and some trash on the floor. Doubt anybody cleaned it. There was also a nasty odor in the bathroom which was replaced with the smell of bad quality fried bacon at 5:30 in the morning. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Place is being renovated. The room was nice, but renovators are definitely taking the cheapest route. We had a double queen suite with a 3rd queen bed and a sofa sleeper. Beds were comfortable. The ac unit was very loud. Pool was closed for renovations also, this was very disappointing to my two younger girls who were looking forward to swimming. Breakfast was good. Overall it was an ok stay.

Quiet clean and comfortable.
It looks like they’re in the process of updating the hotel, but the hotel was quiet clean and comfortable, which is all that matters. It was also less than a minute from the highway.

Stayed at property a week prior and elevator area had still not been cleaned of dirt and popcorn . The room was quiet and adequate, but bathroom floor had hair here and there.

Location near highway was convenient. Insufficient signage on access road to mark turn in; we had to circle back to find the way in. Room was clean and well appointed. Receptionist was pleasant enough but placed us very near elevators without asking if we would prefer a quieter location. The beds are ridiculously high; we had great difficulty just getting up onto the beds. Serving breakfast at 7:00 AM is too late for business travelers; we need to eat at 6:00 or 6:30 at the latest to get to our day on time.

Water is so soft and pressure so low you feel dirtier when you get out of the shower than when you got in. Breakfast buffet is AMAZING though!

Good Stay
Overall the stay was good. One reason I can't say great is because it is under going remodeling which is a good thing. Our rooms didn't seem to be updated yet. We had one suite and one standard room. We stayed for 4 nights and the beds were never made up in the room with the suites. I wasn't staying in that room. I wasn't told from the family members that were staying in that room that the beds were not being made up daily until the last night. I did not address it with the hotel. I am sure they would have rectified the issue had they been told. The employees that I had interaction with were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again when visiting family in Springfield.

Arrived at 7pm to check in and couldn’t. There was no power - it was not restored until 9:30. I had to sit in car for light, a/c, and to charge phone. Additionally, I was marked as a no show because the hotel had no power when I showed up. Lastly, the stay was not discounted for this inconvenience.

The pool is closed the gym is closed and the key cards did not work. The keycards not working happened that day so nothing they could have done. The pool and gym and the fact the are remodeling should have been posted on the website. I would have book another hotel if we had know in advance. The room rate is not discounted based on the information above. Every time we left the room someone from the front desk has to walk us up to the room. When you enter the hotel the front desk person was outside the majority of the time and you had to wait for someone to come to the front desk.
