We walked in and walked immediately out we went to another hotel. The bathroom was not clean the furniture was old and worn. Then they asked for a 100 dollar hold for incidentals --there is no restaurant --so what incidentals? I have had a hold for 100 in a nice hotel but this was not a nice hotel. The bathroom was so dirty we left and did not stay the night. The staff was okay. and we thought there would be less noise from the express way at this hotel --there might have been we are not sure as we didn't stay

Felt the room was dated and carpet looked dirty and bathroom had mildew in the shower area. Thermostat on the wall did not work unknown if it was supposed to work and there was no TV listing of channels for the TV.

Room 421 Not what I am used to
Check in was easy. To watch tv I had to verify via unsecured Wi-Fi from either my personal phone or personal computer. Day curtain was torn, my guess is because you couldn't pull them together to close. Night curtain was fixed permanently open on both sides allow for parking lot lights to light up my room all night. At 2:18am the Roku TV Turned its self back on under someones control clicking to sign on to YouTube Music. I got up and turned it off with the remote leading me to believe the room next doors remote synced up to my rooms tv..... or, through the unsecured WiFi someone hacked their way in as a prank. Room 421 12/05/2023 I stay in Springfield overnight weekly and wanted to try somewhere new. I doubt I will return.

The shower in our room did not work, it just ran down the wall and the small shampoo and body wash amenities had been used. We notified the front desk and asked to be moved to another room. They moved us to another room and the TV did not work in that room. We also noticed the elevator inspection certification was out of compliance. We did not spend the night in this hotel and requested a full refund. The person on duty that night was nice and did what she could. Unfortunately, it seems their maintenance and housekeeping staff do not do their jobs.

This inn was clean and quiet, despite being a short distance from a highway and a busy city street. The staff was professional and quick. The breakfast area was very clean. I would stay here again.

Surprisingly Disappointing
I’ve stayed here before and had no problems, but this time was disappointing to say the least. Had to move rooms because 1st room had ants crawling on nightstand and in bed… then second room had open coffee and utensils with the in room coffee maker. The shower also didn’t drain very well and anything more than a 30 second shower had me standing in water almost to my ankles.
