“Fabulous stay!”
I had the great pleasure of staying at the Lusso during a recent business trip to Spokane. This is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel located directly across from it's 'sister' hotel, the Davenport. The room was nicely done and the bed extremely comfortable. Best of all, it was quiet. The staff was without a doubt, the friendliest and most helpful that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. A thank you card is on its way to them as I write this as their service was outstanding! A nice little touch, Starbucks coffee and coffee cake available in the lobby every morning. It is located within walking distance of the Riverside Park which offers a gondola ride over the city waterfalls and hosts an old wooden carousel, (late 1800's era) which is open to the public for a ride. Madeleine's Cafe is close - Main & Wall streets and is worth the walk for breakfast. or lunch. The Ale House downstairs offers a nice selection of craft brews and local Washington wines.
“Great Hotel”
Good room, nice decor, great people working there. Love the location. Close to everything downtown.
“good for the money”
PLEASENTLY SURPRISED GREAT ROOM VERY NICE HOTEL worth a try
“Always quite hotel”
Hotel Lusso was designed as a hotel in the early 1900. The architectual design is outstanding. Best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at.
“Great Stay, but Funny with the Money”
Our stay at the Lusso Hotel was good. We chose the hotel due to its close proximity to an event we were attending at the Spokane Club. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only issue we had was when it came to checking in. I booked the trip through Expedia, and it was paid in full at the time it was booked. Upon arriving at the hotel and checking in, I confirmed this with the concierge and was told they would just need a credit card for incidentals, which they would put a hold of $50. The next day while checking my bank account online, I noticed that it was not a hold, but a charge, and not for $50, but for the entire amount of our stay. It was an inconvenience, but the annoying part was that the concierge we were dealing with on this issue 1) tried to reverse the charge but then said she couldn't; 2) said that this has never happened before, so she didn't know what to do. All we asked is that it be removed, so after about 5 trips downstairs to speak to her, and 2 calls one with the accounting manager, the other with the Guest Services manager, it was finally removed, and the guest services manager apologized. All we wanted was help getting it taken off, an apology or accountability, but the concierge made it difficult by acting like it was our fault that it occurred, because we had booked with Expedia. All in all, great stay, but having this issue was a bit of a pain to resolve.
“Always a pleasure”
We stay at the Hotel Lusso a couple of times a year when we visit Spokane and we have never been disappointed. This time they upgraded us to a King Size suite in the historic section of the Davenport (sister hotel across the street). This was very nice as well...you can't go wrong either way. The service staff is always exceptional at both hotels and the rooms are lovely and quite comfortable. Of course you can valet park, but we park overnight for $5.00 at the parking lot a block south of the Davenport...about a three minute walk from the Lusso. I always appreciate the cleanliness of the hotel and the lobby of the Lusso is beautiful and relaxing. A bit toned down from the bustle at the Davenport but that is our preference. We will continue to make the Lusso our Spokane home.
“Great Hotel”
Great Hotel would stay in this hotel again if I ever visit Spokane again. Our room was larger than I expected and hotel provided a roll out bed whenever I asked for it on three occasions. Bathroom excellent.
“Historical Excellence”
Not totally modernized, but very elegant!
“A pleasant surprise”
This hotel exceeded our expectations. We were very happy with this selection. Staff went out of their way for us. Valet parking got a little congested at times, but they only needed to be let know and it was dealt with immediately. Coffee and biscuits were included in the morning.
“Great Place”
Stay here, you will not regret it. Nice staff, good food, great location.
