"This is a great place to stay if wanting to explore the Royal Mile. Everything is within walking distance. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but well furnished. Many pubs, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. We took the airport bus to St Andrew’s stop then walked 5-10min to the hotel. It made transfers easy and affordable. "

"Just an overnight stay before heading to airport early the next day but it was the perfect location ( only a 7 min easy drive), perfect accommodations at a great price. The grounds were beautiful and food was good. Would recommend if in the area. "

"Loved the location. Caught the tour bus right across the street from the hotel. Easy to walk to other restaurants. Room service had the very best hamburger and fries. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the big bathtub! And so glad to have a room with air conditioning! Front desk and bar staff very helpful. Just a short walk to pick up rental car"

Quiet and Clean

"This makes a perfect solo-person stay in an excellent part of Edinburgh. It’s clean and quiet and professionally run. If your concept of hostel included loud, drunken/high people up at all hours of the night, this is not that! It’s just a perfect place for a solo adult traveler to have a safe, inexpensive place to stay. "
