“Best value in the wine country”

If you are not interested in the the spa experience or the B&B thing and just want a very comfortable, affordable place to stay just a short hop from wineries this is it. Nice rooms, restaurant with a great menu and service.

“Can't wait to go back",”

We went to the wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma and the hotel was great to stay at. The rooms were clean, not noisy or anything. The bar was very nice and all the people were very friendly. We went out to eat each night and the guys at the desk were great to give us a list of resturants to choice from with directions. I would stay here again

“Never thought my home town would have such a nice hotel”

Stayed at the Sheraton after a Petaluma HIgh School Class Reunion. Who would have thought we would have a multi star hotel in Petaluma?

“Nice but .....”

Very nice hotel but if you are staying there as part of your visit to the Napa / Sonoma valleys then it is quite a drive each day to the wineries. Otherwise would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Good location for seeing Napa - need to validate your reservation.”

The hotel staff was great. There were a number of booking concerns (arrived to no room and then ended up we were showing as having two the next day once they placed us in another room.) I will say the team pulled together to provide us a great weekend. The location was wonderful at the marina and convenient for us to get to the majority of the Sonoma Wineries. The room itself had cleanliness issues - we had a dog room and unfortunately it doesn't appear that they clean the rugs after each stay. There were numerous stains from dogs that put us off and concerned us about leaving ours in the room unattended. (Those stains are an invitation to pee over the top and mark - they need to spend time cleaning these floors so they don't have this issue!) In fairness they didn't charge a fee for the dog but I would be willing to pay one for the clean rugs. If you don't have a dog with you I would ensure you request a NON-Dog room. There is a wonderful walking trail directly next to the hotel that was a surprise and great advantage! Overall we would recommend staying but suggest you contact the hotel and verify the room booking and any specifics that you need.

Wine: Definitely take the time to seek out Ledson Winery - they do not distribute so you will not have seen them in your local stores but you can order their wines and have them shipped...the facility is worth the trip even if you don't drink. Ravenwood is a little out of the way but the summer wines were worth the exersion. Drive in the other direction and there are a dozen or so dog beaches you can visit along an amazing shoreline that is also worth the

“Petaluma Sheraton - a very pleasant stay, with easy access to the wine country, the coast, & S. F.”

The overall stay was a very pleasant experience and non eventful, which is exactly the way I want it to be. The staff that we encountered were very professional, helpful, & friendly.

Must see

You have very easy and reasonably quick access to the entire Sonoma, Napa, etc. wine country. Downtwon Petuluma should be experienced by visitors to the area. It is filled with great restaurants, bars, and unique shops. For those interested, there is an inordinate wealth of antique shops. It a relatively short drive to the coast. Point Reyes should not be missed.
