Bolzano was amazing. The location of the hotel was perfect. A short walk to the tram one way and an easy walk to old town area the other. Parking across the street and an exceptional breakfast.

A marvellous Tuscan Hotel
A superb hotel, typically Tuscan decorated yet modern with all the comforts we could possibly need. Our room was cosy yet beautifully air-conditioned when retreating from the fantastic 37degree weather. The level of cleanliness could not be bettered. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, several speaking good English and not judging us for having no Italian! A definite five star stay.

I don’t usually leave any comments but this hotel was an absolute disappointment mainly because of false advertisement. I booked this hotel because after a few days of driving around Tuscany, we wanted to spend our last afternoon by the pool drinking wine from Montepulciano without spending a lot of money for high end hotels. However, when we arrived in the hotel we found out that they don’t actually have a pool in the hotel. Instead, they will give you a free ticket to go to a public pool nearby which was absolutely shocking. I wasn’t expecting a lot from the hotel due to the price so I didn’t really read the reviews but it’s very important for hotels whether big or small to ensure that what they're advertising is accurate. The breakfast was very basic. You get what you pay plus THERE IS NO POOL!

I'm sorry to read what you write. On the booking site it is well indicated that the swimming pool is 400 meters from the hotel and that it is not inside the hotel. Regarding breakfast, it is appreciated by our guests for the quality of our products and the quantity. I am only sorry to have disappointed your expectations. Sincerely

It is a nice well run hotel which did the job very nicely. Nothing particularly spectacular but everything was fine. A short bus ride to Montepulciano with a bus stop right outside meant that we could taste wine all day and not worry about driving back!

Beautiful small hotel in small town near Montepuliciano. Great restaurant in hotel and easy parking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Recommend it highly.

Great base for touring this beautiful area. Easy to park. Elevator. Very good breakfast. Rooms have balcony with good views. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to cold spring weather in Italy.

Good hotel only 10 minutes away from city of Montepulciano. Very friendly staff. Staff helped us book a reservation at popular restaurant in the city. Very clean hotel. Good breakfast

Enjoyed! Kind staff, immaculately clean. Quiet and peaceful, great views, minibar and grocery store and easy driving distance to town but far enough away to make peaceful. Happy w/ this choice !

Perfect!
Not one disappointment here. So clean! And a lovely view from the balcony in the back of the building. Sophie was a great host and made us feel so welcome. There is a large restaurant with full menu, and free limoncello after every meal! The breakfast is included in price , and is excellent. Parking is within view across the street and not a worry. Not close enough to town to walk, but still well worth the price and we highly recommend.

Excellent Stay
I enjoyed my stay at Tre Stelle very much. The room was large and very comfortable. The staff was always friendly and service was very attentive. They even brought me full tea service one evening when I asked for some hot water to make tea in my room. Such a nice touch. (I always carry tea with me for a cuppa before bed). The area is quiet and rear rooms have a nice view. Having a bathtub was an appreciated amenity after a long day sightseeing. I ate one meal in the hotel restaurant and again experienced great service and very good food. The menu features traditional Italian courses. For something less fancy, there are a few little restaurants just a two minute walk away.

Great service from the staff and a great value close to City Center of Montepulciano. Terrific restaurant next door. Make sure to ask the desk staff to reserve a spot for you as it can be full even on a Sunday night.

Nice hotel - not in Montepulciano
It's a nice hotel - very clean and well maintained. The rooms are small, but comfortable - get a 2nd floor room if you want any view. Note that it's not in Montepulciano itself, but rather about a 10 minute drive away - not walk or bike-able. The restaurant on the lower level (and apparently operated independently from the hotel) is good and reasonably priced for dinner. There is very little else going on in the town of Sant'albino, restaurant or night-life wise. You will need a car, but driving in Italy is fun. Recommend a small car.

Clean & basic hotel, great price & friendly staff!
My husband and I stayed in this hotel one night. The staff are really friendly and our hotel room was very clean although basic. We had breakfast included, it's as pictured above - assortments of tarts, cheese and meats. There's also a restaurant below the hotel, which isn't a part of the hotel, and it served great food and wine, and was popular with the locals.

Excellent place with cheap deal from Expedia!
I arrived very late (about 10:30 pm) and the staff on duty was accommodating and provided me enough information for the next day trip in Val d'Orcia. The room was very clean and had excellent spread for the breakfast. Got a great deal - booked a night in this 3-star hotel for as much as I spent in a 5 bed room Hostel in Florence!

The hotel was very neat, clean, and well-appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing maps and train information when asked. The breakfast was copious, with lots of different choices. Although the bathroom, especially the shower, were very small, the cleaning service kept it tidy and provided plenty of fresh towels. My only 2 (minor) complaints would be (1) the beds were not terribly comfortable, and (2) the hotel corridors seems loud early in the mornings as the early risers got started with their day. Also, they advertise a pool, but apparently it was not on the premises although you could use a nearby pool for free (we didn't use it). Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Ottima sistemazione
Struttura leggermente decentrata ma in posizione gradevole e tranquilla. Camere sufficientemente spaziose, dotate di tutti i confort, con arredamenti retrò, ben climatizzate ed insonorizzate e soprattutto con una pulizia veramente perfetta. Personale disponibile e dinamico. La prima colazione è classica italiana con dolci favolosi tutti fatti in casa. Da ritornarci.

Нам по запросу попеняли номер - в первом очень плохо работал смыв раковины. Номера маленькие, на троих - еле разместиться. Маленькая душевая кабина, туалет впритык. И ещё замёрзли, жутко замерзли. Включили кондей на обогрев, а он ночью перестал работать( отель стоит у дороги, с улицы слышно все, соседей слышно всех, кто куда пошёл, куда сел, что включил((( В общем, никакого уединения и тишины. А в остальном - приятное обслуживание, завтраки скромные, как и везде в Италии.
