The owners were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was typical continental with good coffee. The location is fantastic, with great views of Montepulciano, the San Biagio church and more. The hotel can provide good recommendations for places to eat and some offer guests a discount (generally 10%).
All in all a great hotel, great service, would and will come back!!
Recommended by Rick Steves, the travel guy, and he was spot on. The brother and sister team that run the hotel are great. Friendly and knowledgeable about the best things to do and see. Breakfast could be had for an extra 5Euro and it was well worth it. Best breakfast we had in our two week stay in Italy.

Had a wonderful experience here. The owner, Cinzia, who was so gracious, greeted us warmly with a welcome drink after a long drive. She gave us great restaurant recommendations in town, the few times we decided to try a few others, we had bad experiences. My room was spacious and charming with breathtaking views. I travel frequently to Europe, this hotel was one of the most special places I've ever stayed in The wine bar is a great place to unwind after a day of walking.
"Amazing hotel, amazing view and phenomenal staff"
We had a great time at this wonderful hotel. Our room was impeccable with a gorgeous view of the Tuscan countryside. The hotel is a converted noble home in Montepulciano run by a great family. We had a truly amazing time and felt like we were home away from home.
Every evening, Elena and her mother would prepare an aperitif at 6:30pm which included locally-produced wine. A great touch!
Our stay was so great we actually extended it by a night. Wonderful experience, cannot recommend it more highly.
This is a beautiful place to stay. It is away from all the tourism and you get the actual feel that you are in Italy. This place is a family run business that also have a winery and produce olive oil. There is a restaurant there where the food is all fresh and delicious! We ate there every night because the food and wine was so good. You won't be sorry if you stay there.
