It is worth to stay with only S$30 per night
Staff service is good. Hotel Location very Good; Room dusty, but after the staff clean it up. it look OK! Tap water also dusty, we drink bottle water only(cos dry season)

Hotel in the city center, close to the Night Market and the entertainment district. The staff is friendly and courteous. The room is air conditioned and kept clean. The toilet is in need of renovation, the shower is without a curtain

I was very disappointed. I booked a single room that looks spacious according to a picture but ended staying at double bed room without further explanation. The toilet is too close to the wall and I could not sit well during the nature call.

It is an amazing hotel to stay in Siem Reap, very strategic location, near to night market and pub street.

Noise was disturbing
I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions because of its ideal location. But this time the down side was the air conditioner which was quite noisy probably due to wear and tear. There is also a new club with a live band just opposite the road. So noise is the main issue during my last stay. Last but not least, the Wi-Fi reception was also poor.

Was unable to reach hotel staff for airport pickup. Phone would ring & then hang up. Only to get there to a sleeping receptionist who didn’t even greet us. Rooms needs to be cleaned, bath tub & room was dirty. Door was difficulty to open/close. No linens were provided upon arrival. It’s worth the price if you don’t mind dirty & it is a great location & easy access to everything.

Location is great but the hotel itself....
Great location, a minute walk to Pub street. Good and reasonable price restaurant nearby. But hotel condition was...unexpectedly bad because of their overly tuned photo. It's a bit old and small and not so clean. Staffs weren't so good at English but very helpful. I think it's acceptable with the price if they didn't adjust the photo so much to have people thinking the hotel is super clean and such.

worst hotel experience they litrally dont care about you... no smiles on face. all working like robots. my room was opened while i was sleeping. blood stain on my bedsheet and blanket was smelly. Wifi connection was very weak. shower was very slow, no hot water inspite of heater, no toilet paper nasty toileteries given. outside restaurants, my tuktuk driver and angkor wat temples were great experience.

Good value, location on a budget
Location is great, close to night market and pub street but far enough away that it’s relatively quiet. Friendly staff and helpful. Restaurant ok but venture out for meals. There is a lot of choice around. Be warned wildlife runs free at night if your sat in the restaurant area. This is not to everyone’s taste. Room was cleaned daily with free water, tea and coffee. TV was super with satellite channels and air con room. Got free pick up from airport with a super driver. All in all if you need a budget place to stay, good location with friendly staff this is a good Choice. Would I stay here again, yes.

Friendly staff, great stay
From the moment we contacted them to pick us up from our Bus stop to the time they dropped us at the airport was excellent service. Reception and staff were very friendly. Even the Tuktuk driver they recommended was very helpful. Food was great. Apart from room condition and noisy area which was expected from the money I paid, overall it was a good stay. Thank you.

Good location but noisy
Love the location but there construction taking place surround the area ( mostly from the new hotel ) from 7 am to 6 pm everyday. If you plan to have activity outside all day then it's ok. And the hotel should do something about the a/c purification. I can smell cigarette all day inside my room. Its giving me migraine. The staff try to give me the Twin bed room when I'm specific request and book for a Single Room.

Cheap and good location
Good value for what you pay for room in a good location in Siem Reap. Very close to the bars of the Night Market so it is quite loud until the small hours of the morning if you are a light sleeper. The bedroom strangely enough has a window into the bathroom with a shower curtain covering it. This could be problematic depending on how close your party is and how private you like to be.

The hotel is close to the night market and pub street which is great for dinner. Staff are friendly to help. They can book the bus tickets for you. The rooms are clean and provide what you need. Breakfast is average. It's a good choice in Siem Reap.

Good hotel with great location.
My stay here was comfortable and convenient due to the location and good facilities of the hotel. Right down the street from the main markets, night market and pub streets. Still removed enough that it wasn't too loud. I'm a light sleeper who depends on ear plugs and I was able to sleep once the performances at the hotel next door died down at 9 pm. Bed was a king size and I thought I was getting a queen so bonus. Firm mattress if you like that, I personally don't but know that's what most hotels offer. The only complaint was the shower - the curtain was on the wrong side and was tiny, so even when I switched it over the bathroom floor got soaked every time. But it all dries up and they clean your room daily and give you new towels so it was more of a minor inconvenience than anything. The staff was friendly and helped me with requests, extended my stay and gave me the same room with no issues. Overall good spot for a reasonable price considering it's a private room in a good location.

Great Location, Comfortable, and Friendly staffs
The location is super close to the night markets, the pub streets, and restaurants. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating. We asked them to book our bus tickets, but they forgot, but managed to get it all done in time.

Angkor Boutique is the right choice!
Excellent location in a convenient but quiet location. Staff is very attentive. The room had good lighting and was sunny during the day, bathrooms very clean with hot water, wifi worked fine, mini-fridge and locked safe. Excellent choice, worth every penny!

The top management need to look into the manager in charge who was on duty on3/5/15. He bullied / harass the female front desk staff in front of us. We saw him squat under the front desk counter, and the lady stand next to him. Suddenly we saw her crying loudly. We saw her climb out the front desk counter to escape from him. About 10 minutes later, we saw him walk out from front desk and talked to the lady with loud voice. From his body language, we can quest he is warning the lady. After this manager left, i ask her what happen, she was so scare to answer my question. We worry her safety.

Hotel Cancelled my Stay
Arriving late at this hotel after a 7hr bus ride from Phnom Penh it soon transpired that the hotel did not have a room available for me. A member of staff had taken a call from an 'Alex' thinking it was me (Adam) and cancelled my booking - or so I was told. Given I booked on the day, this supposed cancellation happened a few hours after my booking - but at my arrival the hotel was full. The hotel seemed to be of a reasonable standard from what I could see. I was moved to another hotel which was supposedly of equal standard but after looking around at various rooms within it clearly was not. I ended up cancelling my stay and booking with a different hotel. I hope the Angkor Empire Boutique learn from this experience and train their staff better to confirm who is calling and what booking their are cancelling.

Good location but a little noisy. Wooden safe box not mounted on wall. Should change to a proper steel safe box. Stairs narrow, no lift so staying at high floor poses a problem to elderly

Little hotel, typical of a SE Asia boutique hotel. We felt safe enough. Airport pickup was fantastic. We contracted the same tuk-tuk driver to take us to the places we wanted to see. Always arrived on time and did exactly what we wanted. Hotel is in a busier area close to bar street and the night market but far enough that it is not annoying.

the location is very strategic.
angkor empire boutique hotel is not a big hotel. however, it is situated at very strategic location. u can find variety of foods, a lot of souveniers, pub street, massage here. the staff are very nice. we asked them to prepare the cake for my friend's birthday and lastly they made the surprise for us. Overall, very good!

Just manage your expectations....
First off, despite the name this is not really a hotel of any kind but more of a budget guesthouse. Once you keep that in mind, it is easier to accept the many small flaws as a tradeoff for the location and price. There is no lift and the staircase is narrow making it hard for those with large bags. The room furnishing is simple, almost austere. There is only a ceiling light with a single bulb so the room is rather dim at night. No tables near sockets so we had to charge our phones and tablets on the floor. Even the bar fridge sits on the floor and doubles as a table for the water kettle.The shower shares the same space as the toilet bowl so everything gets wet, no kerb or shower curtain to stop water from running all over the bathroom. The A/C does not seem up to the task of cooling the room, it took ages to bring the temperature down and even then not by much. My room was shared with some small geckos (heard them at night and found droppings on my pillow one day). Wifi was free but very slow and signal was not reliable at the 3rd floor. On the plus side, the room was cleaned reasonably well each day and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff were polite and eager to please even if some didn't understand what "milk" was. Breakfast was fine but served in a marquee-like extension at the side of the building that abuts a busy and noisy road junction. The location was excellent with many food options and night life within walking distance.

Awesome close to every place you wanna go
Only few minute walk to all main shopping places (Night, Old and New Market, Pub street where the fun starts early evening and restaurants (reasonable prices) and the Hotel staff are completely awesome very kind and diligent thanks to Sophoan for being so kind and prompt making good coffee...Makara for cooking the best omelet for our breakfast..and rest of them 2 thumbs up (Y) thank you Angkor Empire hotel :)

So much for the boutique experience
location of the hotel is good if you want to be close to pub street, however the hotel is sandwiched inbetween two building sites, the builders start work about 6.00am!!! The design of the room is very odd, no storage space, the shower is on top of the toilet, and there is no enclosure. Also, there is a large window that runs across the wall that separates the bathroom from the room, this is covered by a tacky shower curtain. The TV in the room is tiny (approx 15inch) and is so high on the wall that it almosts touches the ceiling. Breakfast is OK but not so good if your in a hurry, it took the staff 30 minutes to prepare us some toast and pastries. The overall cleanliness is OK. If your looking for somewhere to have lunch I'd have to recommend 'The Sun' on pub street it serves excellent sandwiches and milkshakes.
