Spacious rooms - We had a king size & double bed in the room (not a roll away) for 2 adults & 2 children & still had plenty of space. Beds were comfortably soft. Bathroom had a shower & tub which is a plus for kids. We were on the ground floor overlooking the lily pad filled creek which was beautiful. Terrific, huge pool - Lots of different depths to suit everyone. Slides into the kids pool were a hit with ours. Could have had more deck chairs, but as it was low season - no worries. Prices at the hotel are understandably more than in town or buying drinks from a store. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Quiet location - We thought we would be too far from town, but it was great to have the resort amenities, while still close enough to quickly get dinner. $7 for a tuk tuk round trip & he waited for us, stopped at mini marts, ATMs, etc. $3 one way, but then you would have to flag someone to bring you back - easy enough, but having someone at hand was a plus. The staff was friendly, but often their English was limited. Arrange your own taxi or go to the "tour" desk - much cheaper then the front desk. $15 for a tuk tuk or $30 for a taxi for the day for the near temples seemed standard no matter where you stay - both easily fit 4 people.
"Great city hotel - walking distance to amenities"
1. The friendliness and helfulness of the hotel staff were exemplary, special thanks to Sothy and his colleagues from the dining room for asssisting with the birthday cake for my sister;and the concierge for assisting to make dinner reservations at abacus restaurant and airport transfers.
2. Although friendly and helpful, the restaurant staff could be a little more attentive with regards to refilling wine glasses and water glasses.
3. It was appreciated that the dining room staff charged for 1 person and did not charge for my ala carte breakfast, after i pointed out a billing error in the bill, i was charged for a buffet instead of ala carte.
4. A business centre would be useful for guests who want to do internet check in for their flights.
5. Would definitely stay again if i am in Siem Reap, and would recommend to family and friends.

"Nice hotel with good facilities and big pool area"
We got there early in the morning just to leave our luggage there and see what time can we check in. They could'nt offer us early check in because hotel was fully booked but they offered us free breakfast instead. Which was really good. Went to the city and got back to the hotel about at 12. Our room was ready by that time and we could check in. Earlier than promised.
Staff is helpful and willing to do everything for you. Nice pool area and spa.

"Beautiful hotel with REAL Asian charm & service."
We had a lovely 3 nights stay at the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa. Our suite was breathtaking; beautifully appointed with Asian decor, spacious and comfortable. Our experience began before we arrived. I had contacted the hotel in order to arrange a car and driver and a tour guide. The hotel's concierge was prompt and helpful in getting back to us. Our anticipation of our stay was heightened because we felt that we would be taken care of as per our requests. We were NOT disappointed. A car and driver picked us up and though we arrived late in the evening, the concierge was on hand to go over our requests and expectations. Our visit to Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat was well orchestrated and tailored to our needs; an unforgettable experience. The services at the hotel were exceptional. Excellent bar; great exotic drinks and fabulous bar food. The buffet breakfast was inclusive of both Asian and western foods. It was a phenomenal experience. The pool was refreshing and inviting and the attendant welcoming and attentive to our needs. Both he and the concierge are great examples of Cambodian hospitality and service. The spa offered wonderful services which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. We had a beautiful little vacation within a vacation, by spending some time taking in and enjoying the ambience, facilities and services at the hotel. ALL staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and helped to make our visit a wonderful experience that we will always remember.

Victoria Angkor Resort and Spa offers a distinctive colonial atmosphere and a truly unforgettable and unique experience. Its …More
The last time I was in Angkor was 1999, when a muddy road led to the temples and not much else. I stayed at the elegant, colonial Raffles, a stark contrast to the war-torn poverty around it.
It's wonderful to come back to a modernizing, bustling city, in full bloom.
There are now over 100 hotels lining that now-paved road to the temples, but the Raffles stands out among them.
I agree with my fellow travelers about the great things about this hotel: the excellent staff and service, the beautiful rooms, the expansive grounds and excellent food. It's a step back in time to the French colonial days but with all the modern amenities. This hotel is one-of-A-kind experience and elevates a trip to Angkor Wat to another level.
World travellers and happy to say that this was one of the best trips we've ever taken - partially because of the accommodations. The hotel is in great condition and offers pretty much everything one may need including a generous selection for foods, facilities as well as entertainment.
The staff is friendly and very helpful, just like most locals.
