"Charming little hotel."
I didnt expect the building to be so old but there was alot of charm and characteristics to it. It is a three story walk up building but the hotel staff maintains it very well. It was a realy unique and beautiful place. Our room was spacious and clean! they provided soaps, shampoos and conditioners from Pharmacopia which I love! Continental breakfast was also wonderful and tasty. Overall a great place to stay!

"Perfect hotel next to Key Arena"
I selected this hotel first because of it's location right across the street from Key Arena, where I was attending an event. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. It was also a great rate, considering it was right in the heart of Seattle. Our room also had an excellent view of the Space Needle

"Nice hotel, easy to walk to sights,"
Staff, so nice, funny helpful, rooftop to take a glass of wine or beer, great view. Able to walk to see everything. No air conditioning, it was unusually warm, also no breakfast, but, coffee , popcorn, microwave in room, and Safeway, in the next block. We loved it and would return. We are seniors, 72

"Wonderful staff, fantastic location"
Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Stayed here for a family wedding. Proximity to Space Needle, EMP, Chihuly Glass Garden and monorail. This means being able to get to the centre of public transport (for us, anyway, at Westlake Centre) in a few minutes, and then a bus to where we needed to go. QFC (supermarket) for all supplies (and cooked food), nail salon (on same street), lots of eating places about. Made use of the hotel online 'concierge' which found us a noisy pub with great crepes.

"Great Family Stay in Seattle"
Just stayed here four nights with the kids for a "last of the summer" vacation. Very close to Seattle Center and all that is there to enjoy, including a beer festival and Beatles tribute concert while we were there. Nice bonus. We had heard the dome fountain was fun, but were skeptical. Ended up popular for us and the kids alike. Science Center, Chihuly Garden and of course Space Needle, all right there. Missed the EMP, but next time. We also caught the Emerald City hop on hop off tours right there which hauled us all around town, so only taxis were to and from the train station. While called the Hampton Downtown, it really is in lower Queen Anne and has a nice, clean, city residential neighborhood feel. We prefer busy touring in the day and nice quiet hotel at night and this hotel is perfect. Hands down, this staff was the friendliest and most helpful staff we have experienced in a very long time - from front desk to the breakfast area staff. Nice hot breakfast bar by the way. Our only surprise was no refrigerator in the room, but ended up not a big deal. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

"Nice view"
When we arrived we checked in & the hotel stuff are so friendly. The beds are really comfy, the bathroom is clean except the door it's hard to close. I wish we could of stayed a little bit longer. Everything was good.

"Booking with Expedia is lacking some info."
We booked with Expedia for this hotel and it was a great hotel next time I will phone and find out what the rates are. We just got the room and for that price I felt we should have gotten breakfast included. I am learning with this online booking it might not be all that it is cracked up to be. The hotel was great and if you are a family of 5 or 6 this might be the only answer to staying downtown and experiencing Seattle downtown and harbor. We were close enough for most of what we want to see except to far from Safeco Field for reasonable cab fare so we ended up driving through rush hour traffic (a night mare be prepared) but parking near the football field was really reasonable ($15.00) the shuttle from the hotel was $8.00 each one way!!!!!! The cabs not much better and difficult if you are a family to find a van after the game. If you are a family this is where you can get one room for all of you and for a few nights any family can deal with it for the money savings. Grandma & Grandpa both snored and we took some crap for it but we were making memories is how we looked at it.
