Don’t Stay Here
This was a necessary stay as it was the only hotel in the area. THIS IS NOT 8.0 QUALITY. It was dirty, lamps and other items were in the hall and stairwell. I had no interaction with staff other than the night clerk. I asked for a second floor room for safety. She initially said that she could not accommodate but did so after pressing the matter.

It was clean, and the complimentary breakfast was better than many at that price range. It offered hot food such as eggs, sausage, biscuits, and waffles. It also had a choice of cereals, bagels/toast/muffins, 3 kinds of fruit, yogurt, etc. The bathroom was very handicapped accessible (we're not handicapped, but...). The person at the desk was very nice and helpful. It had a refrigerator and microwave (for some reason, some hotels are not equipped with a microwave in the room). Stayed one night and were very satisfied.

Very friendly staff, they had no hot water when we got there and offered to help us get another room somewhere else. We decided to stay and they got the hot water issue fixed within a couple hours, which was fine. Very clean room but needed the handicap bar fixed in the bathtub, it was no problem for us but could have been if someone needed it. I would def stay again.

Standard basic motel. Checkin time 2; we arrived at 5 and they had to get the room ready for us. Good thing - adequate breakfast, but ran out of food at 8:30 although it was open till 9:00. On second request they brought out more sausage and biscuits. Best thing - Cruisers Diner is next door and is fantastic.

Only hotel around.
No hot water. Dead bugs in room. No coffee? No desk or table in room. Queen beds would have been better. Staff was good trying to make a bad experience better. Did give discount for no hot water.

Kudos to the staff, shame on the owner
Very friendly welcoming at check-in from Karen who gave suggestions for local non-fast food options after a long drive 😁 other staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Condition of the hotel and property was deteriorating, obviously no upgrades or pride taken from the owner. Need to upgrade rooms, pool was sketchy, air conditioning is ancient, mildew smell in room, mold in shower area, security was non-existent, garbage outside, landscaping was unkept, mattresses need upgrading, just overall obvious neglect. Would not consider staying again 👎

Comforting and very comfortable.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bathtub was older, but it was clean. It was close by to where we were going to view Serpent Mound and the people working in the Inn were nice and welcoming. We try to stay at financially lower cost places and were very pleased with this Inn.

This hotel is in need of some modernization. The bed, furniture and other items in the room look warn. The towels were very warn. I stay here once per year passing thru because the location works great for me but I may consider another property next time.

Nice overnight stay.

This was a ok budget hotel. My room was not fully clean and part of the carpet was dirty, the desk was wobbly and there could have been more outlets for electronic devices. In other words not up to the standards of the better chain hotels. But is quiet, breakfast ok and a great diner just five minutes away.

I stayed at this property under another name in 2019. There seems to be all new employees and the condition of the hotel has substantially deteriorated and the cost per night has gone up 50% since my last stay there. In the future I will not stay there unless someone posts that the hotel has improved.

I had to clean the room. There were fresh towels but it hadnt been clean. I didnt complain as the first room smelled of smoke and at least this one didnt. The young lady at the desk was very helpful and gave me a freshly washed comforter because mine was dirty. Peyton is a jewel!!
