“Covenient but needs update”
I needed to be in Clarks Summit for business and the Ramadfa was convenient. The service/staff was very good, the breakfast was fine. The bed was comfortable. Other than the carpeting being somewhat new, my room was dark and not in great shape. Internet access was spotty (out for one evening and half the next day). The fitness room consisted of a treadmill that wailed like a Banshee and a stationary bike; that was it. The pool was in good condition but the housing around the pool was rusty. Although it wasn't terrible, If I need to go back, I think I would prefer to stay elsewhere.
“Indoor Pool not indoor”
The fact that we had to practically go outside to enter the indoor pool is the only thing preventing a five-star review. Perhaps in much warmer weather this would be fine, but not when it is barely 40 degrees outside. The onsite bar and restaurant was closed in favor of the recently? acquired restaurant in the next lot.
“not to impressive”
The room was neat however the hallways and the lobby were very dirty. Also because they still have smoking rooms the halls reek of tabacco. They have the non smoking rooms at one end of the hallway and the smoking at the other but the whole floor smells like cigarettes. They should have floors for smoking and non smoking so this is not an issue
“Ramada Inn”
Very nice and clean hotel. We were very happy with our stay here and the complimentary breakfast was very good also.
“A comfortable stop”
This was an average hotel with average rooms and decor. The location was ideal because it was near several restaurants including a fabulous one right across the street. Breakfast was served in an upstairs hospitality room that didn't have many windows and felt a little cramped compared to breakfasts served in large lobby areas. This is a good choice for the price however.
“Wonderful location”
This hotel was close to the interstate and made getting to Elk Mountain to ski a breeze. There were many restaurants nearby and the free continental breakfast in the morning was good. Although the hotel is older, it was very well maintained. We really liked the pool.
“Helpful Staff, Great Free Breakfast, Heated Pool”
We stayed two nights at the hotel with our young daughter. We were pleasently suprised with the quality and variety of the free breakfast. The staff was helpful when we needed a few items. The highlight of our stay was the indoor heated pool. It was in great condition and very warm (~40 F outside).
“Another business trip to Clarks Summit”
The hotel is pretty much the same as last trip. Dependable, inexpensive,close to the turnpike, lots of nearby food and services. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Close to my customers in the area. Nice complimentary buffet breakfast. Wireless internet worked fine.
“will use for convenience”
ONLY STAY BECAUSE IT IS CLOSE TO KEYSTONE COLLEGE ROOMS COULD BE CLEANER. Last stay in August 2008 had to to ask for room on 5th floor to be cleaned.Still not up to par.Breakfast is good nice set-up, cannot use microwave and toaster at the same time they shut down.
