The property, pool and gardens were lovely. Staff was friendly and very helpful. However, the area around the hotel was quite loud as the street was very busy and there was a loud bar 2 doors down from our room. When it got too loud we went to the pool or beach. It did quiet down later in the evening.

The hotel is a cute little oasis with a lovely pool, nice room and good breakfast. However, apparently there is a new bar right next door, so it definitely wasn’t the ‘quieter, off the beaten path, environment I expected. Serious earplugs are a must!

Our stay at Casa Nawali was amazing. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive. The grounds /garden of the hotel are impressive and well kept. The boutique environment was exactly what we needed especially compared to the hectic party vibe of central Salyulita but still a short walking distance. If you're looking for an oasis this is a great bargain for what you get.

Casa Nawalli was absolutely beautiful, our favorite part was the stunning pool surrounded by greenery which is kept immaculate, and little butterflies and birds flying around. The breakfast nook was cute with good coffee, and the banana bread was good. Very simple/light breakfast. Omar was super helpful and friendly, and greeted us right as we arrived, and then helped with the safe right away when we couldn’t get it to open. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach, and even better is on the quieter less crowded side of the beach with better access for swimming. It’s also on the quieter side of town so nice to get away from some of the crowds, but literally only 5 min walk to get there if you want more activity. All of our needs were met and we had a really great time.

I truly cannot say enough about this charming, beautifully appointed boutique hotel. Casa Nawalli is beautifully appointed. Every detail and design is thoughtfully curated in traditional rustic Mexican decor. Omar and Sofia, the managers of the hotel personally attend to your every need ensuring the comfort of guest, and offering the best tips and recommendations to enjoy your visit to Sayulita. The hotel itself is located step from a gorgeous beach and restaurants, cafe's, but far enough from the main street - Calle Revolución to ensure a tranquil nights rest. I would be remiss in not mentioning the fantastic and chic sushi restaurant located right on the premises- Henshin. Head chef, Daniel is a sushi master expertly sourcing the highest quality fish locally and from Japan. I’ve travelled all around the world, and must say Henshin’s Omakase was an absolute culinary delight rivaling some of the best high-end sushi restaurants I’ve been too. I dined there more than once or we had a few pieces before heading out to a full dinner- we simply could not resist. In a world where big chain hotels dominate tourism, it is indeed so very wonderful to find little gems such as Casa Nawalli.

We feel like we found a slice of heaven at Casa Nawalli. The communication since before we arrived was warm and prompt, Oswaldo’s greeting when we arrived, made us feel like we were right at home. The property has a stunning garden, outdoor lounge, and salt water pool. We stayed in the fern room, which was so pretty and comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor, cleanliness, and room setup is superb. The included continental breakfast was a perfect light start to the day… plus an extra meal that was included at the little café called Anchor just outside the property was an unexpected surprise! We can’t say enough good things about this place and would love to return either here or to their new property coming soon in Puerto Vallarta! Thank you for doing what you do, Casa Nawalli. An accommodation and it’s people can either make or break a vacation and these people truly made our stay in Sayulita, exceptional. Highly recommend!

Great spot to relax away from the crowds!
Very cute hotel hidden a few blocks away from Sayulita's busy center! Very clean and well-decorated room. Hotel's premises are also great with kitchen, barbecue, swimming pool and cafe/restaurant onsite. Oswaldo was also a great manager and helped us troubleshoot any issues we had, thank you! Would come again!

Great spot
Great location, ideally located. Great service, super staff. 5 minutes walk from downtown, no noise from the party zone ;) Only thing is that the lobby is in renovations and it's a little noisy early AM and during the day. But manageable. They are building a great add-on. Will be back.

This place is absolute paradise. On the outskirts of downtown Sayulita, it's great if you dont want to be in the heart of the action, but still close enough to enjoy. Staff were nothing but helpful, kind, and positive. Sayulita is a gem, and so is Casa Nawalli. Highly recommend, i'll be staying here when I go back.

The hotel was in beautiful condition and the grounds were impeccable. The staff was the best part however as they made us feel welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and that our trip was a great as possible. Construction is taking place in one corner of the property but that did not negatively impact us at all

The whole stay Was wonderful the staff is very friendly the hotel is very clean and more like a home setting. Everything is this very nice especially the pool area. They even have chairs you can borrow for the beach if you want. There are stores close by and a wide selection of restaurants. Excellent hotel I would definitely come back. The only problem is that they do the yard work very early in the morning and it can wake you up as early as five or 6 o’clock. Even that is not a big deal.

The staff here are so fantastic (Lorena is always so warm and friendly) and the property is a wonderful little oasis in the town. This was my second time staying and at Casa Nawalli and it was just as good as the first. Would definitely stay there again!

An oasis is Sayulita. Clean, comfortable rooms located in beautiful tropical garden. Wonderful small swimming pool and common kitchen where simple (fruit driven) continental breakfast is ready for guests each morning. The staff is outstanding in keeping the place immaculate and most importantly - filled with human kindness and personal warmth. Lorena is a fantastic site manager radiating with kindness and thoughtfulness. Pablo treated us to fresh coconut water one evening and a lively conversation. The couple who maintains the property during the day is doing a fantastic job in keeping the place beautiful. So glad we had the chance to stay among such wonderful people at Casa Nawalli.

It's a beautiful house, very clean, with a nice decoration and the doorman and the hostess are very polite. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our stay. If you are looking for an option adult-only, this is not the place, even though that says on his website. There was a baby crying for hours (even though we report that problem to the hostess). In the end, honestly we felt like if we were been invited to someone's house instead of have a relaxing stay in a private hotel. Having say that, I don't believe that the cost-benefit balance is correct, very expensive for the service we received . I don't recommend this hotel due to these reasons.

We apologize your last night at the hotel was interrupted with our last minute guest. Due to high season, that family came to our hotel requesting to stay for one night. They were traveling for hours with a baby and couldn’t find a place to stay. We decided to make an exception with our policy. It was Christmas time, a baby was involved and we believe in kindness above anything else. They waited in the Main house where your room was located while we made all the necessary arrangements to host them as far as possible of the rest of the guests and this is when they baby was crying. We really sorry for the inconvenience this may have cost you. Warmest regards,

Serenity in Sayulita
Beautiful, comfortable, a few blocks from the noise and still 2 blocks from the beach and a short walk to the turtle preserve. The staff is beyond belief warm and welcoming. Garden, pool and basic breakfast are perfect. There are restaurants, shops and yoga studios everywhere. For shrimp tacos go to Mary’s trad Mexican in town. I was so impressed with Casa Nawalli. Laurie is incredibly nice. It’s a little paradise. Colors and design of hotel are gorgeous. It was 24 hrs before I noticed there was no tv:) Who cares!! There are rooms on the main level for those with mobility issues. I loved Casa Nawalli and I hope to return as soon as possible! It’s a feast for the eyes and Sayulita is absolutely charming.

Exceptional stay at Casa Nawalli. We booked a room for a few nights and were a little sad to leave this place. The atmosphere and attentional to detail in the decor and maintained gardens were beautiful. We mentioned it was our honeymoon and were surprised to see a small note in our room leading us to a bottle of chilled champagne in the fridge. Lorena the main manager is a pure joy and the staff are very friendly. There is a real sense of home and community in this place that you don't get from a large hotel. Really enjoyed the charm of this place and hope to be back.

We loved everything since we arrived. This place is lovely and perfect location. The staff was wonderful with us, we would definetely come back. Its super quiet, surrounded with gardens. Its the perfect getaway :)

This is a beautiful place to stay. The location is perfect with short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The staff is gracious and very friendly and helpful. We felt very pampered with top notch amenities.

Stayed here for 5 days while in Sayulita. Great location, close to the beach and walking distance to town, although everything is within walking distance. Very neat, clean, quaint. Large rooms, bathrooms could be a little bigger, but can't do much about that. There is no TV (which was fine for us). Loved having a small pool and outside refrigerator to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Love casa Newalli!
I was traveling alone, a first, and I felt safe, comfortable and relaxed staying at casa Newalli. I loved that they have a vegetable garden on the grounds. The soaps, coffee,shampoo that’s provided is locally sourced and organic and they provide a container for composting at the continental breakfast. Love that. They provide beach towels, blankets, chairs and umbrellas. The location is close to everything but not too close. I loved it.

Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely helpful.. I would highly recommend it. The only draw back was no tv or phone. It did not both us but it might bother other guest not having those services. P

The hotel is modern, well laid out, and on a quiet street 2 blocks from the beach. It has an excellent complimentary breakfast and parking on the property. The pool is lovely but a little cold. The gardens are well tended and the hotel grows lots of organic plants and fruits? Excellent value for money.
