Great place
Everything was very good. Clean, nice furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. This is set back from 30A so it was very quiet. Nice pool and the cleanest pool we have ever seen. Highly recommended.

The house was super clean and very nice and modern. The front porch and back patio were awesome to sit and relax on. Super convenient to everything in the area. The only complaint I have is that the pool was supposed to be heated and was unfortunately not, it was like a ice bath

Nice Little House
My husband and I rented the home for a month (mid Oct. to mid Nov) The front porch, and back deck were great for sitting with a cocktail and relaxing. Both had comfortable furniture. We wished the lighting on the back deck would have been brighter for reading after dark, but it was lit dimly. All the furniture in the house was updated and very comfortable. It was nice having two full bathrooms. Very well decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed except for a grapefruit knife. The crushed ice works on the refrigerator door, but the cubed ice does not work. We needed to buy our water because the water from the faucet tastes like chlorine. The walk to the beach wasn't bad, but we did take our bikes a few times. The pool was not heated and to cool to swim in for the time of year we rented. I think this house was one of the nicer ones in the development. We walked a lot at night and wished the street light at the beginning of the development was working. It was a bit dark coming into the street.

Quiet and cute!
We LOVED our stay in Seagrove! The house was very clean, decorated nicely, and had everything we needed! It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but we got used to it and it really wasn’t too bad, even with 3 kids in tow. This tiny neighborhood of small houses was really cute and had one of the cleanest pools I’ve ever seen. We barely came in contact with anyone, it was quiet and very relaxing! We loved taking the short walk to Angelina’s for dinner and then right over to the beach to watch the sunset. The community is located right behind a storage unit area. That wasn’t my favorite thing to look at but it wasn’t so bad that it would keep me from returning. I wasn’t sure about staying in this area since we usually stay in Watercolor but the prices have gotten outrageous. After one evening trip to Seaside/Watercolor we greatly appreciated Seagrove! The area is wild and busy and overrun with unsupervised teens, especially at night. Seagrove was a breath of fresh air compared to that crazy Seaside vibe! The public beach access has a tiny strip of space between private access that gets busy and overcrowded…make sure you go just a short walk to the left to have more open public space to spread out and enjoy the beautiful beach!

Loved this cozy cottage and the location was perfect for proximity to beach and delightful eateries. Property managers were responsive to some wifi hiccups and other questions on day 1, very much appreciated as we set up for our week long stay. Highly recommend!

Great Trip!
Even though a tropical storm was hitting the weekend we were down there, it was a great trip and the house was so cute & clean! We do wish they would have given a few more rolls of toilet paper for the amount of women we had in the house and maybe a few more trash bags but other than that everything was fantastic!

A group of 5 of us stayed for a weeklong friends getaway & the space was exactly what we were looking for: - Great location (~5 min to beach, from cul de sac walk straight, then left to the main road where Tom Thumb and beach access entry point are) - Lots of fun spots nearby by car (recommend Idyll Hounds brewery, Great Southern Cafe in Seaside, the Hub, George’s at Alys Beach, Blue Mountain Beach Creamery) - Air conditioning and wifi were perfect - Great table and kitchen bar to congregate - Pool/grill access (mostly kids/families) - Enough bath towels - Best sleeps 4 people - Very responsive management throughout If you’ll be spending time cooking & grilling, there are plenty of plateware/cups/silverware but you’ll need to bring basic spices and plastic Tupperware if you want to bring anything to the beach. Overall, we LOVED our stay and had no issues throughout. We’ll be back!

Wonderful 30A summer vacay
We felt we got an incredible value with this property. We went with my husband, 14 yr old daughter, and 17 yr old son. The decor is clean and beachy. We liked the location - we rode bikes up to Seaside where all the action is when we felt like it, and every morning we rode to the smoothie shop just up the road. The main beach we used was a short walk away - typically my husband would drop us and all the stuff off and then he’d bike back to us- a very short process. I plan to send the link to several friends who are looking to come next summer.

Cute sea cottage
Cute beach cottage. A few small issues with cleanliness. Our biggest complaint was the terrible internet. Wasn’t usable for more than about three minutes at a time. We looked forward to evenings relaxing with Netflix. Nope. Also had someone taking a class online. Nope. The only other issue was the bathtubs. Very slick. Nothing on the bottom of tub to make more you more stable on your feet. They got better as the week went on so some of the problem may be the type cleaner used. We had to shower with a towel in the bottom of the tub as to not fall. It is a cute decorated cottage in a cute culdesac. And, we liked where it was on 30a. If they would make a couple changes we would be back. But, NOT without a working internet. And, we’ve stayed all along 30a and not had issues before.

Unfortunately, the 30A area does not have many options for internet service carriers. We've been informed by the internet company that there is some construction taking place nearby, and that is the reason for the poor internet connection. That said, the owner did switch internet carriers this past week, as the only other company in the area has finally started servicing that street. We are hopeful that switching carriers will resolve the issue and alleviate the frustrations with the WiFi! We will relay your observation about the tub to our cleaners, as maybe the product they are using is the cause of the slick tub. We do not put bath mats inside the tubs for sanitary reasons, as they are extremely difficult to properly clean completely between guests. Again, thank you for staying with us and we hope to host you again in the future at 36 Gulf Cove or in one of our other 55+ available rental properties in the area! Beach Escapes Rentals

We LOVED this little house! Nicely decorated in calming neutrals and beach-related decor. Immaculate! Just a couple blocks walk to the beach, and a bit more to a bike rental shop. Sweet front porch and back deck, grill nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great house, location a bit tough
Overall the house was wonderful. Perfect size for 2-4 people. The inside was updated and very clean - new fixtures and appliances, floor had a wood look and the coffee maker was full pot and single serve - super nice. The closets were nice and the washer and dryer actually worked - unlike about every other place we have stayed. The porch and chairs were very dirty/moldy (reason for 4 stars). We used bleach wipes on the porch chairs (the chairs are really nice white Polywood so it worked well) to clean up the mold and dirt. The porch really needs a pressure wash and paint - as does the siding out front (also moldy which we wiped down at head level). The pool area is just outside and the walk to the beach is a short 0.3 mile to the crosswalk. Overall we'd stay here again for sure. The only note....the back yard backs up to a self storage area. The street is strangely laid out - and a bit sketchy before getting to the culdesac...beautiful houses and a run down apartment area and a self storage. Early every morning around 7am there was a loud thumping - almost like someone was running upstairs, but there was no upstairs! The beaches apparently store their kayaks, umbrellas and chairs in the self storage units backing up to the house. For two hours each morning they loaded the beach gear onto trailers and pulled in and out with cars and trailers. We are early risers so it was fine, but if you plan to sleep in, choose a house further around the culdesac.

As far as the storage behind the house goes, this is the first complaint we've had regarding anyone making a ruckus back there and we've had the home for three years. If not at the pool just out the front door or at the public beach about a 7-10min walk away, this house was THE place to be. The interior felt fresh and clean. All the beds and furniture were comfortable and the AC was cold! The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. The front and back porches were great places to wake up and wind down. The only negative, if you can even call it that, was there was hardly any personal communication with the property management. Just an informative “check list” style email a week before our arrival. That is personal preference and in no way tainted our review. Our stay was an A+! We’ll definitely be back! *when walking to the beach make sure to go straight out of the culdesac instead of left. You’ll walk down a dead end neighborhood street to a side walk and cross walk to the beach access instead of having my to cross 30A Froger style. This is the type of detailed information we’d have liked from the Managment.

Very nice cottage....felt like home.
Everything was really nice. My husband noticed the refrigerator water filter for ice maker and dispensing water needed to be changed. And, of course, he would have preferred a recliner in the living room. I looked for a product to clean the bottom of the fry pans. Sorry, I left them as I found them. Home decorations were adorable!

Great cottage close to the beach
We loved our stay in the cottage. It’s conveniently located, close to the beach, Publix, Seaside and Rosemary beach... walking distance to a few restaurants, bike rentals etc. the house was beautifully decorated and updated. A couple of things we didn’t like comparing to our previous stays in the area was a lack of beach towels (we flew in and had to bring ours), 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for a 6 night stay (we had to buy more almost right away), 2 trash bags left to use and no recycling, no shampoo and the cheapest full bar of soap that gets thrown away after ever guest. I’d recommend getting refillable soap/shampoo/conditioner containers installed in the bathrooms to minimize the waste. Thank you!

Super cute updated cottage by the beach!
Unfortunately our stay was cut short by the topical storm, so we checked in a day late due to canceled flights. It was so easy to check into the cottage and we were surprised at how spacious it is! We were very comfortable and it was very clean. The cottage has been updated and the finishes and decor were very pleasant! We will be back to use it for some future long weekends and golf trips. We did not get a chance to check out the pool or beach access. Overall a great find!

Beautifully well maintained beach house
We had an excellent all too short stay at this beautiful beach house in Santa Rosa. It was immaculate and had all the necessities you need. Short jaunt to the beach and local attractions make the vacation perfect for families and everyone. There is a relaxing pool area just outside and front/rear porch seating. We will definitely be returning each year.

Awesome property!
One of the cleanest most well equipped houses we’ve ever stayed in! It was perfect. Once I realized the thermostat wouldn’t go below 70 on purpose I had no complaints. Would definitely recommend this house and will book again!

Great house! Great vacation community!
Phenomenal house! Modern touches and squeaky clean, this was a perfect home base to enjoy the beaches of 30A. We loved having coffee and cocktails on the back deck. Having a pool just a few steps away was awesome for our kids and it was great to meet and hang with the other families staying in the subdivision. Walk to beach wasn’t bad at all and we were biking/walking distance from Seaside. All around a great place for a family beach vacation!

The beaches of South Walton have been a family vacation destination of ours for 23 years. This was our first stay in Seagrove, but not our last! We loved the location of this newly decorated, charming house, which was just a 2 minute bike ride from the beautiful beach. The local restaurants were amazing whether we wanted beach casual or slightly upscaled. Shopping was great as well. Boutiques, bookstores, markets, etc. are all within walking/biking distance. Lastly, orange, yellow, pink, purple, blue, the gulf coast sunset was second to none! Anxiously awaiting spring 2019!
