Santa Barbara Inn was a great location. Literally across the street from the beach & ocean. Prob a 15 min walking distance to the wharf and lower State Street (downtown). Most restaurants are located down the street. But they have a delicious restaurant, Convivo on the property. Very small pool but if you want to swim in the ocean, it’s steps away. The value was great for the location.

Beautiful property and location. Clean. Wish we could have made coffee/tea in the room. They only offered coffee in the lobby, no tea. Hotel and valet staff were excellent, but hostess at Convivo (the restaurant) was not accommodating and had a bad attitude.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The first thing I said after walking into the lobby was "Wow! It looks just as pretty as the pictures". The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and perfectly located. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and I loved the heated bathroom floor. The restaurant inside the hotel, Convivo, was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. There is also an excellent sushi restaurant just down the road. This hotel is on the beach near Stearns Warf, and downtown Santa Barbara is just a few minutes by car. The Santa Barbara Inn exceeded our expectations in many ways. We'll be coming back next time we're in Santa Barbara. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely property across the street from the beach. It can be loud if people are in the room above you. Also, they have limited amenities for a 4 star hotel.

We came for a last minute trip to santa barbara, and although it was raining, we had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff were all great - both TJ with the valet/bell team and Eli at the restaurant deserve a shout out for their incredible service. The food at the restaurant was so good. We would come back just for that alone. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back.

We have stayed in the area before, but nothing quite like this hotel. Start to finish great, as soon as we arrive we're greeted by the valet. We arrived a little early but the hotel made accommodations for us to gain access our room earlier. We chose a room with an ocean view. It was great to leave the sliding door partially open to hear the waves at night while we slept. We had such a great trip we will be coming back.
