Masia Sumidors is an absolutely amazing place! It is a 400 year old farmhouse with tons of original features, set in a stunning peaceful rural location. We really loved it. The evening meal was fabulous and great value. Lovely complimentary breakfast. If you take your time driving up the track, it is no problem - our 1L hire car managed it just fine. Natalie and her staff are super helpful and welcoming. It is by far the best place we have stayed in a month road trip around Spain. 💯 recommend.

Rustic and peaceful
We were just a one night stay in this quaint old property. The owner is a friendly, welcoming person with a very charming, helpful young son. He showed us to our room and told us all we needed to know. The property is in a very tranquil, secluded area with lovely views of the campo. Breakfast was delicious with a very good choice. Dinner is also available and there is a lovely outdoor bar. The pool is at a lower level with plenty of shade.

The Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The stay was delightful because of this, and its facilities. Definitely a nice quiet getaway for those wanting some peace or to be away from city life.

We really enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately the pool pump was not working and while we were hoping to spend our time in the pool that did not happen. The ladies that run the place are wonderful and keep the place clean and comfortable for the guests. We ate our best meal in Barcelona here and we would definitely recommend dinner. While the gravel hill to get there seems a little precarious, we got there and stayed there. We did not go out at night when it could be a little scary to menuever. If you want rustic, I would highly recommend it. The pictures make it look much more dark and dingy than it is. We really enjoyed our stay.

A unique place!
Great food, wonderful people, comfortable room in a beautiful setting. The hotel is at the end of an old road through vineyards and up a hill, so be ready for bumps, but our small european car made it. Did some nice walks through the hills, and got good advice before going.

This rural retreat, old farmhouse was a break away from crowded places. great rooms, great host and food. Road is a little rough to get there but well worth it. Handy for Cava visits. Just loved it.

Surrounded by beauty and quiet
Tranquil, remote location. Getting a taxi can be difficult but the staff helped us with that (above and beyond). If you do rent a car, the road leading to this Masía is gravel with some turns uphill so be prepared. No problems for us! Very unique property and a very laid-back approach to hospitality. Would come again! Thank you!

Wonderful rural retreat in Catalonia
We absolutely loved our 2-night stay at Sumidors! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed by Keith and Natalie as if among old friends. Their hospitality was second-to-none and the scenery and environment was so tranquil and peaceful. The perfect rural stay in a stunning, historic building.

A PLACE TO RELAX.
Amazing place to be to relax good view , the pool very clean, very welcome , the staff and owner very friendly, I will tell friends and family if they visit Barcellona , Spain to go and visit this place, the room was very clean and comfortable , fresh mountain air , with lot flowers and fruit trees, with outside Bar and dinner area it can be very romantic place to be with private area good food. A place to visit and stay for a week or more.

Perfect escape for a few days
It was a stopover on our road trip and I can only regret we stayed there only one night. Great location (green hills and vineyards all around, Barcelona not too far), wonderful and very welcoming owners! 5/5 is too modest rating :) If I'm ever in the region there, I will definitely stay here again.

A precious find near Barcelona
This hotel is a real 'find' if you want comfort, great service and good food in a spectacular setting. The property is 400 years old and oozes character. It is a little off the beaten track (c800m) but is very easy to find. (From St Pere de Ribes take C-15B then just a little after 4km sign take the immediate right after the 'Carnivore' restaurant; see 'Google maps' for detail.) For anyone looking for a little peace away from city life (though only minutes to Sitges and the RENFE to Barcelona)you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere better.

Uncomfortable Stay
Directions to the hotel is very important as it's not very easy to find and signs to the hotel can be misleading! Narrow dirt track road leading up to hotel with potholes needs careful negotiating - we felt sorry for our own car (not a rental). We were assigned a very small double room and as it was very warm during our stay we were not comfortable at all while having to cope with mosquitoes all over. Very small shower area. Also experienced a power cut in the middle of the night leaving us no electricity / lights available - not even emergency candle in room like in most hotels. Hotel with potential but needs a lot attention to make it worth while staying in this picturesque area overlooking Sitges.

A quiet getaway in rural Spain
Our night at Hotel Masia Sumidors was a highlight of our recent trip to Spain. We enjoyed the rural setting of this hotel, but most of all we enjoyed the food and conversation with the owners and fellow guests. It was a memorable stay. Thanks!

Hôtel romantique hors des sentiers battus.
Hôtel situé dans une très ancienne masia au bout d'un chemin de 800 m en mauvais état. Il faut rouler doucement. Nous avons été accueillie par Nathalie notre hôte, très sympathique. La chambre est d'un charme surrane, aux meubles chinés , à la literie confortable. Endroit idéal pour une escapade romantique. Petit déjeuner très bien. Nous recommandons cette hôte.
