Overall a pleasant generally comfortable stay with a friendly staff, beautiful grounds and options for c
varied activities. Three thoughts: nature walk, furniture and age of the accommodations. I emailed to sign up for nature walk from home, never heard back so asked the reception rep at check in to sign us up, but still we were never notified that we were signed up. Also, room furniture left a bit to be desired. The dresser had two broken drawers (of 4) and the 2 lounge chairs had uncomfortable, saggy cushions. The wood of chairs themselves appeared moldy or dusty, probably reflecting their age. Porch wood chairs had icky arm rests which need refinishing. We didn't want to touch them. Tacky bathroom door was poorly painted, stove (which we did not use) was old with burners not ready to use. The facility is old, showing signs of repairs, but kind of run down. Pricey for the room quality, although outdoor options were very good.
