"We booked this property for a 4-night stay on a trip to Cedar Point. This property was definitely in the top 3 worst hotel stays I have ever experienced, if not my number 1. I stood in the room after opening the door and contemplated going back to the desk and getting a refund, but I didn't have any other options.
The staff was polite, but the room itself was a complete hardware and maintenance failure. There seemed to be zero housekeeping, and we weren't even provided with towels upon check-in. The bathroom infrastructure was broken, featuring a leaking mini-fridge and a toilet seat completely detached on one side.
From a security and physical standpoint, the room felt incredibly sketchy. The door lock barely functioned, and the interior door handle literally came off in my hand. As a tech professional, I felt completely unsafe leaving valuables like my laptop in the room. I have low standards for a budget motel, but this property failed on basic safety, cleanliness, and structural integrity. Save your money and look elsewhere."
