Hotel is conveniently located near Centro. My room was supposed to be a suite but, was on the smaller side. The AC didn’t as cool as my friend’s room. There are no fridge or microwaves in the room. We had to ask for ice everyday. I was on the 2nd floor. The door to my room did not stay securely locked. It could be pulled open even though it was locked. I let the front desk know and she just let me know they are monitoring my room from the cameras and that I was safe. We had to turn our room key in every time we left. They said it was to keep up with who was gone. It was ok. I would not stay here again.

This lovely historic hotel is quiet, convenient to town and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and hope to go back some day. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nena. The location is perfect for walking to the main square but also to other parts of the city. Many dining options within walking distance. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious with many good choices and was a nice way to start our day. The staff was all friendly but the best thing about the hotel was the very helpful concierge, Joshua. He provided assistance on restaurants and things to do and was always there to help with a smile.

Primera vez en San Miguel y no pudimos haber echo mejor elección en hospedaje! Hotel Nena nos encantó todo! Ubicación privilegiada! A cinco minutos ya estás frente a su hermosa iglesia y plaza principal, la comida del restaurante deliciosa! Por lo regular en hoteles donde se incluye desayuno son muy limitadas las opciones, aquí todo los platillos con muy buenas porciones y delicioso, las habitaciones con el toque moderno dentro de la antigüedad de la propiedad, super bien equipada la habitación con tu cafetera y todo lo indispensable para ducharse, el personal SUPER atentos! Eva y Tadeo los chicos de recepción siempre atentos y amables a todos los detalles y preguntas de los huéspedes, Lety nos atendió en el area del restaurante y siempre con su buena actitud. Nos gustó mucho que tuviera estacionamiento ya que en San Miguel es misión imposible… el estacionamiento no está en el hotel, pero 15 minutos antes de que llegáramos llamábamos al hotel y ya había alguien que nos recibía el auto para llevarlo a estacionar a donde ellos tienen acceso. Estoy pensando en algo mal que no nos haya gustado de hotel Nena… pero de verdad solo nos queda decirles GRACIAS! Y nos volveríamos a hospedar o recomendar sin problema!

Great service!
The hotel was very accommodating! They kept valet parking open for us as we arrived late. Valet noticed one tire had a nail in it and even had it fixed for us so we had our vehicle ready to go after checkout. Thank you!

Hotel Nana was a great place to stay while in SMA. Location was centrally accessible, the room was very comfortable and had what I needed, and the staff were so attentive (the only downside is not all staff spoke English, so I used Google Translate; a truly minor issue). Even in the days long before I arrived the concierge was incredibly helpful, sharing information on restaurants, things to do in the area, etc. They also helped me figured out if the gym I wanted to go to had the equipment I needed. Shout out goes to the concierge Joshua Tadeo Badillo who was so helpful once I arrived in SMA. He assisted me when I had (what I thought was) an issue with the shower not having hot water. I now know that F is for cold and C is for hot water! Also, on my check-out day I was running behind and he graciously provided me with plenty of extra time to check out. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to SMA.

Great location, nice rooms
Hotel is centraly located, near the main square. The reception was very friendly. The room beautiful. The only inconvenience was the restaurant, although not directly operated by the hotel, it is inside the building. Breakfast was included but the quality of the food and service were deficient. They have a beautiful rooftop, that they should use to serve breakfast, it is onlyopen for dinner.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at Nena. Being with just 3-5 minutes walk right into the center of SMA, and still located in the middle of the old town, it was a perfect location. The hotel is converted from a large mansion from long ago. Character, with amenities... pool, top rated restaurant (La Dona) and cobblestone streets and sidewalks right outside the door. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice location and staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are right next to restaurant and high traffic areas, so noise is an issue. Food at restaurant is excellent.

Great location and charm. My only complaint was that you can’t see out of the windows(which are doors). At first it felt claustrophobic, but the quietness of the room in San Miguel-which can be noisy- won me over.

I cannot express enough how happy we were with our stay! The staff was unbelievably caring, polite and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade and a bottle of wine to celebrate our engagement. The food for breakfast was top notch and was a big portion that kept us full. La Dona was excellent for a high-end dinner as well! You’re so close to everything! Would highly recommend Hotel Nena to anyone!

I liked that everything was nearby. The staff was amazing, helpful, and friendly. The only things i didnt like was the water temperature in the shower kept changing, it was kind of annoying. And for a Adults Only hotel i saw a lot of kids.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel nena. the location is perfect, near the park and center. it is very clean, our room was cleaned and had turn down service. It is very well maintained, our bed was very comfortable and they have a full size mirror in your room!!! this was great as we were attending a wedding and we wanted to see our full look. Also the bathroom was a great size!! they also had l'occitane products which was a nice little bath luxury. the staff was great, friendly and helpful. the restaurant on the main floor has yummy food, but the rooftoop bar is ahhmazing! great views, great drinks and good food too!! the only reason we didnt give 5 stars is for safety. as it is in the main area, you can easily walk into the property. Although we didnt get anything stolen, one of the nights, we had a drunk guy, who also was staying at the hotel, banging at door asking to be let in. My boyfriend told him several times this isnt his room, but he kept banging and insisting to be let in... it took a few minutes before hotel staff came to get him and re-direct him to his own room. had it been a random person from the street, that would have been scarier.. i do wish they had more security on premises that are doing rounds to make sure there isnt any crazy commotions happening. overall we loved our stay and will come back and definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boutique Nena, the staff were super helpful, and friendly and overall had excellent service. The food at La Doña restaurant was delicious and the waiter staff was as helpful, and friendly as the hotel staff. The bed was super comfortable, they will give you boutique chocolates (which are wonderful) on your bed when you arrive. Every evening, staff would go to your room and ensure your room was ready for your return and be ready for you to enjoy a restful night. The view of the roof top restaurant is awesome!

Fantastic hotel. Our room was beautiful and the staff was truly magnificent. The roof deck is one of the best in San Miguel. We loved our time there and highly recommend the hotel.

We liked the location, near most shopping options. What we did not like was that staff did not want to accommodate “music” at rooftop, when we were the only couple enjoying the rooftop access on one particular night. We wanted to enjoy traditional Mexican music and we were told they already had a playlist in place.

We had the most amazing stay in Hotel Nena. We enjoyed both the Renata and Johanna rooms. The property is beautiful with outstanding facilities and right in the centre of town. The owners were kind enough to let us know about the city festival during our stay and invited us to enjoy the early morning fireworks on the rooftop. The breakfast is excellent! We would love to return!
