“We are hoping to go back again in March 2012!!”

We wanted somewhere quiet with no kids and that's exactly what we got. The Hotel was brilliant and I would definately recommend it. The staff were really friendly and if we had any problems, they sorted them out straight away. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day with fresh towels if we wanted them. We had a superior double room on the eighth floor and all we could hear were the waves of the sea. I expected to hear noise from the airport, but all we could hear was the occasional reverse thrust if the patio door was open. The breakfast area was large and very relaxed with an extensive hot and cold menu. You served yourself with whatever and as much as you wanted and everything was cooked properly and hot. There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and a supermarket within easy walking distance of the hotel. We particularly liked the Italian Restaurant called Taboo. A regular bus service operates nearby, to take you to other areas, although we hired a car. If you want to party, then Playa de Las Americas is only 25-30 mins drive away. The local beach is very rough with lots of stones, but there is a brilliant beach just down the road at "El Medano". Internet via ADSL is available in the room at an extra cost or there is WiFi in the lobby area. We like a brew first thing in the morning, so we had to buy a travel kettle and teabags as there wasnt one in the room. Apart from that we had a great time at the hotel and hope to go back.

“Tenerife Vincci Golf - not four star”

The air conditioning in our room didnt work. The hotel staff argued with us, told us we were wrong, sent a maintenance guy who fidlled with a few things and then went away. Nothing changed. Light bulbs were burnt out, the phone didnt work and the food is mediocre. On the other hand the sea is right outside your balcony, the maid occasionally forms your towels into a gorgeous swan, and in order to make things up to use there was a bottle of bubbly on ice with two glasses in the room.

“SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!”

I asked a man in a suit behind the front desk for change (he wasn't doing anything) and the other attendant was busy. He laughed and said he was the assistant manager and couldn't help me with anything. Other staff were consistently rude and unhelpful. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL BY ANY STANDARD. TV / Internet is 25 Euros / day.

“Great Restaurant and Pool Area Ocean View”

I enjoyed the hotel. The hotel was clean. The room was very spacious. My husband and I had a couch, chair, table and sitting area in the room. The balcony was very nice. The hotel location was perfect. It is close to a bus stop and very close walking distance to a market area with everything you'll need. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel dinner and breakfast buffet. There is plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the mountains and the ocean view from the upstairs and downstairs pool area. The only negative I have is that the staff were not so forthcoming with knowledge about tourist information. The hotel should definitely invest some time in developing a concierge/information training for some of the staff.

“Nice comfortable hotel”

My wife and I spent two nights at Vincci Tenerife Golf. The double room was very spacious and the quality of room amenities was very good. The hotel is located at a quiet part of Golf Del Sur which is easily accessible even by public buses. Going for walks in the area was one thing we enjoyed. Overall, very enjoyable experience.

we spent 5 nights at the vinnci hotel,half board.the hotel was very nice,the staff were helpful and friendly,the food was good at both breakfast and evening time. the pool area was well maintained and there were always sunbeds available.there are lots of local bars around for drinks and snacks,try electra,or c&ns

“So Relaxing”

Vincci is a lovely hotel if you are looking for a very relaxing getaway. Nicely located 10 mins from the south tenerife airport (taxi was around 15.00 euros). Our only complaint was that the air conditioning in the rooms was quite poor (next to non existant!), but all rooms have a lovely balcony area so you can open the doors to allow some fresh air in. There are plenty of really nice restaurants very close to the hotel and there is a supermarket selling everything you will need also very close (all very easy walking distance). The staff in the hotel are very friendly and the majority are able to speak english. There is a great selection of food at all meal times and definitely something for everyone. The pool area is lovely and there was never a shortage of sun loungers for us, although it can get a little windy with the sea breeze. We would definately return to Vincci for another relaxing stay.

First of all my wife and I have very high standards when it comes to hotel / holiday accomodation and I can say that we were very happy with the Hotel Vincci Golf and would happily recommend it to anyone, we will definiteley be going back. Some points to take note of:- Fly into Tenerife South, the airport is about 5 minutes away from the hotel. There is a small supermarket near the hotel which has everyting you need. We did not take the all inclusive deal, we chose half board which in my opinion is much better value for money. This hotel is not ideal for a family with kids as it's not really a kids friendly hotel, this is more for couples wanting to go and have a relaxing holiday. Make sure you take factor 50 with you, the sun is unforgiving !
