“Fantastic Hotel near to Union Square”
Hotel Clift is a great hotel if you are staying in San Francisco. Excellent facilities and great bar.

“Fantastic in many ways!”
Room 1427. Brilliant service (door men, front desk and in-room), style (lobby and in-room) and location. Two flat screen TVs, high end bath products and linen, super comfortable king-sized bed and modern furniture. Convenient to the bus (#38), cable car (Powell/Hyde) , express bus to Candlestick, BART. Walking distance to Nob Hill, Chinatown, Little Italy, Civic Center, Yerba Buena, Union Square, great shopping, restaurants and the theatre district. The Redwood Room is a wonderful bonus.

“This is an excellent hotel it is near all the best attractions.”
I just came from San Francisco this week 11-15-11. This is an excellent hotel.
“Great Weekend Get Away In Union Square”
Super location! The staff is obliging and attentive without being too gushy or intrusive. Great choice if you want to visit San Francisco without a car. The bar scene is fun at night. The rooms were very quiet and the bed super comfortable. The promotional deal thru Expedia really made this trip an outstanding value. Would definitely consider booking again thru expedia and returning to the Clift for another stay.
“Fine hotel in great location”
Trendy but costly hotel in very good central location. Generally very happy with the quality of the hotel and the service we received (we stayed a week). Only very minor complaint about the cost of the Wifi!
“Hot Spot”
They were very accomodating. The hotel was in very good condition. There was a halloween party going on while we were there and they let guests in with a costume. My husband wanted to go so he and his friend dressed up in the hotel robes and slippers and went in. They had a great time and there were lots of people there that weren't hotel guests. It seemed to be a hot spot for the locals. Also the other friend we were traveling with left her coat in the room, which she didn't realize until we were home. She called the hotel and they had the coat and were shipping it back to her in Neb! Great customer serivce. Everyone there from the concierge to the door men were so helpful in giving suggestions on places to go and how to get there.
“Will definitely return”
Well-appointed room. Very reasonable price.
