“Good Value”

For a hotel/motel that is located very close to the interstate (highway), you can't really beat this place. It's not a five star place, but certainly worth your money if you are thinking of staying in the area. Good convenient self parking and easy access if you are just passing through. Breakfast was simple, but that's all you need. Room was a little old, but clean very comfortable.

“Satisfied customer”

I felt the rooms and the property were clean. I do think it would be nice if they could come up with some other way of containing the ac draining other than the towels outside each room. The young gals at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. Good water pressure in our shower which I appreciate. Beds were comfy. I would stay there again.

The staffs are very friendly. The breakfast is fine.

“Convenient Location With Kids”

We stayed here in June 2011, have a 1, 2, and 15 year old. It was good for the little ones because it wasn't far from the beach and we didn't have to pack up and take the car every time we wanted to go. You can push a stroller to the beach, but you will have to carry for a short distance because behind the hotel is a somewhat steep hill of dirt that you'll have to walk down, but after that it's concrete and you can push the stroller. There's a train track behind the hotel. Trains come and go during the day and up until about 10pm, but we never heard one during the night. The continental breakfast sucks, but at least it's SOMETHING to eat. Parking lot is REAL tight, so don't bring a very big vehicle or it won't fit in a space. There's a Del Taco practically IN the parking lot, so that was convenient for a quick lunch. Walmart isn't too far away either. The pool was small, but about 8 ft. deep on one side. Our 15 year old liked that. It's an old hotel, but the location was good. Next time we may try to stay next door at the Holiday Inn Express because it's WAY nicer.

“Didn't get smoking free room”

The place was in a good location and close to a Denny's Restaurant. But we didn't the smoking free room that we requested.

“Excellent location; older hotel but very good for the price”

The hotel is a short walk to the Oceanside Harbor with easy access to the shore as well. The hotel is a little older with outdated climate control, but overall was very nice for the price. Good choice for the area if you are travelling with children.

“Great loccation. Walk to beach.”

Great choice to stay and play in Oceanside. Spent a couple of nights before and after a fishing trip. Easy walk/access to beach. Rooms very clean and surprisingly quiet. Free breakfast. Had a good time. It's not the Ritz but it's a great value.

“Good place to stay in Oceanside”

Large room, clean, walking distance to harbor and beach, easy access to I-5, nice little pool and hot tub, next to gas station and convienent store, Del Taco and Denny's. Of the 3 hotels I've stayed at in Oceanside, I like this place the best. Breakfast bar is typical. Nothing to write home about. Better than some places I've stayed.

“Oceanside Days Inn”

Nice little hotel off the freeway. A short walk to the beach with a path that you can travel in less than 5 minutes. There is a Del Taco next door for any late night snacks. You can also feel up on gas with Mobil across the street. Less than 1/2 mile to Camp Pendelton. The continental breakfast is free, there is cereal, muffins and toast. The room is nothing fancy but it was clean, and not worn down. Would stay again.
