The facility is like most Hampton Inns, very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and always with a smile. Breakfast was very, good, hot and fresh. Room was clean and as a king bed suite, roomy with desk and couch. Area is not the best, mostly because there is not much around, kind of desolated. But 3 blocks away you have everything from mall, riverwalk, The Alamo, and downtown San Antonio. The price was unbeatable and we would stay again without any problem.

Dirtiest room I’ve stayed in, in a long time. Shower was lined with red mold, the water leaked, more like flowed, from the shower so bad that it went into the hallway. Had to put towels on the floor of the shower it was that dirty and gross. Hand towels had stains on them. Room was very noisy, must have been beside a bunch of water heaters or tanks because it sounded like a toilet flush every 30 seconds-a minute. Asked for a blanket and got a comforter sanitary sheet, like that does any good. Super disappointed because the reviews seemed okay. Also parking was $32/day, I’ve paid less at the Boca Raton. Never written a review on here but feel the need to for this one.

Paying $32 a night for parking is ridiculous. I've never had to pay for parking at any other Hampton, before booking here it would have been nice to be warned about parking fees instead of "Parking available" which to me is false advertising. The beds were so uncomfortable and the sheets had yellow stains. The water in the tub would back up. This will be the first and last time I will ever stay here.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff were great and had excellent service. I like to thank the young man( 17 year old) working the front desk. He was super kind and always greeted. Actually the whole staff at the front desk were great. I have stayed at many hotels and the staff here at this property was probably one of the best in hospitality. The cleaning ladies were great also and always asked if we needed our cleaned. I didn't drive but I do think the rate is too high, those are NYC prices( I live in NYC). Definitely would stay here again!

The outlet in the bathroom did not work, the shower curtain was ripped off on the bottom which let most of the shower water to run out all over the bathroom floor, there was a roach on the shower floor, had trouble with blind working properly, no exhaust fan in bathroom.

We always stay at Hampton Inn’s all over America and love the beds but for some reason our king bed was a hard bed. Neither of us slept well at all. There was hair in the bathroom shower when we opened shower door. Also, housekeeper walked in, no knock, just key opened in on my spouse naked as she was walking into restroom by front door

Very friendly staff, from the front desk, maintenance and the woman that works the breakfast. Very walkable to the Riverwalk area (about 10min), not a gorgeous area - completely surrounded by other hotels. My room was clean and comfortable

Walking distance is about 5 minutes from the Riverwalk, but it was okay for me. And parking was perfectly safe because it is gated and you can't get in without a room key.

During the breakfast hour there was never anywhere to sit and the congestion was horrible. They could have used at least 3 times the dining seating and space or have opened up outdoor dining. The waffle prep area was in the hallway which added to the congestion issue. Tried to get extra towels and they did not have any one available to bring them to the room. I I finally went to the front desk and waited about ten minutes because they were busy. I don’t know if it is a staff shortage, which seems to be typical now a days. I have tried to stay in Hampton Inn for over 20 years because they consistently were clean and offered great service. Our last two stays, here and KC( where a remodel was going on) have not been up to Hampton standards. But they are still better than most.

The front desk, housekeeping and breakfast attendants were all so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The breakfast selection was awesome however there were days that were so crowded so it was a struggle to get food due to the size of the room. I was happy that they changed the protein options for breakfast like they had bacon, sausage and canadian bacon on different days. They also always have water, tea and coffee at the lobby. The hotel was walkable and near the river center and river walk. i would stay here again.

The laundry utility room was next to our bedroom… all you hear was the slam of the door. Very irritating and loud. Also they charge for parking on top of the fair. The pillows were horrible.

They NEVER did our room in all our stay. This had never happened to mi in Hampton Inn. I did not like the room it was too small. But most of all, A DIRTY ROOM when told the ladies that we were out , that they could do the room and nothing. I PAID TO HAVE A ROOM AND BE MY OWN MAID.

Well the only thing I didn't like is that for one property my parking was waive because I was handicap but the other property made me pay and I definitely thought that was wrong because it's the same company and im handicapped but that's my only complaint that they need to change but my overall experience was great😃
