Convenient, Friendly Staff
Great location, thought I reserved a room with two beds as I was traveling with a toddler but was told they have only rooms with queen beds. Worked out ok as we pushed the bed to the wall and our little one sleep near the wall so he did not fall onto the floor. Staff was great at providing us hot water to make bottles for our little traveler.

All you need in Barra in Salvador
Lovely little hotel with a nice ambience in a great location. It’s not super luxurious but it’s great and the staff are super friendly.

It is What it Is
There are a few things that need improvement. There is no door peep hole to see for personal safety. No secondary door latch, i.e. chain lock on door. Toilet area sometimes gave a lingering sewage odor. Hot water in shower was nonexistent, just luke warm. Sink drained very slowly. Getting back into hotel after hours, i.e. 1am, was a task. Have to wait for front desk attendant to wake up then let you in. No door bell or door card access to gain entry at night. The front sliding glass doors of hotel needs maintenance. Very slow to open, malfunctioning. No information list in room to alert guests that the bottle of water in refrigerator is not complimentary. Found out about the charge when checking out. Desk clerk said I should have been told of charge upon check, which was not stated to me. A/C worked well. Lighting could have been better Bed ok. Wifi in the room was awful. Had to go into the lobby to get a stable connection, an inconvenience. Roof deck is decent. Breakfast passable. Hotel is quiet. Neighborhood is quiet. Close to beach, shopping, and Walmart grocery. Bahia is beautiful, fun and full of history. This hotel Is Basic accommodations. You get what you pay for.

Great Value for Money in a safe area
We stayed about a week and had a great stay. The Hotel is in a safe area next to the Barra mall and has all you need from super market to restaurants and cafes very close by. The beaches in Barra are also near by. The breakfast was great and had a good variety to offer. The staff is also very nice and attentive and understands English.All in all you cant have a better value for money deal!

Modern and comfortable hotel
Nice hotel we booked for only one night in Salvador and got in at midnight so didn't see the surroundings. Modern yet basic and comfortable. Would stay again

Small but comfortable
The room is very small, but is fully functional with AC, small refrig, TV, desk and queen bed. The bathroom has a good size shower box with great water pressure. I was very surprised at how comfortable we were in such a small room with an 18 month old toddler.

Comfortable hotel for a good price. Close to the beaches in Barra and close to supermarkets and the bus to head into the old town.

It's all very basic. Tiny bathroom that had seen better days. Find somewhere else for breakfast. Comfy bed though.

Pretty good hotel, right by the beach!
I had a nice stay at The Hotel overall. It's walking distance from Praia da Barra, which is where the beach and some of the main tourist places are. The neighborhood is also safe. My room was clean and in a nice condition. I think the only issue I had may have been with the staff, who seemed either too busy or bothered when I had questions.

Found 3 spiders in the room. There was a leak under the sink. You can't close the bathroom door. Hotel smells old. Cleanliness at its worst. Customer service was decent. Not going back to that hotel

Very good for the price
Positive: It's a small hotel in a great location for tourism. Short walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the shopping mall. There are plenty of taxis if prefered. The rooms are small but modern, equipped with a flat screen tv, refrigerator, air conditioner and comfortable queen size bed. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Negative: the breakfast was good but not much option. The hotel has a few mosquitos flying about. Overall, good choice.

Excelente restaurante no lobby.
Já estive lá outras vezes. A novidade agora é o novo restaurante , que fica ali na entrada, muito bom. Neste quarto desta vez, faltou ganchos no banheiro para pendurar toalhas, apenas isso. No mais tudo muito bom.

Havia ficado outras 2 vezes (gostei muito), mas nessa ocasião, a pia do banheiro estava entupida, além do chuveiro que vazava água para o quarto. Liguei para pedir uma solução, o rapaz sugeriu (inacreditavelmente) que nós não tomássemos banho. O quarto estava com mau cheiro (talvez do esgoto) e, pra completar, o ar condicionado não funcionava bem. Foi a terceira (e infelizmente última) vez em que fiquei hospedado lá. Experiência bem desagradável

Colchon viejo el cual no permitió descansar a gusto, se partia por la mitad a pesar de ser doble. Almohadas muy pequeñas y nada confortables, ropa de cama vieja y pequeña para el tamaño del colchon, la cobija daba la impresión de que estaba sucia pues su olor no era a limpio o recien lavada. Muy pocos canales de tv. La habitacion tenia olor a humedad todo el tiempo, nos toco dejar la ventana abierta. Rescato la ubicación muy buena pues hay mucho comercio alrededor y Barra se encuentra a tres cuadras. Si al desayuno le colocaran el sistema de buffet que tienen muchos hoteles que es cubrir los alimentos sin la necesidad de que los clientes deban destapar las refractarias seria genial igual que las frutas. Felicito a la recepcionista de Argentina, muy amable y servicial.
