Positive: It's a small hotel in a great location for tourism. Short walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the shopping mall. There are plenty of taxis if prefered. The rooms are small but modern, equipped with a flat screen tv, refrigerator, air conditioner and comfortable queen size bed. The staff is friendly and very attentive.
Negative: the breakfast was good but not much option.
The hotel has a few mosquitos flying about.
Overall, good choice.
I enjoyed my stay in the hotel very much. Good location but >20 min walk to the beach. I got taxi to take me to the beach every time.
Nice and clean gum
Pool, good size pool (not for laps but for fun)
Elevators: fast and spacious
Club lounge & terrace: very good, clean with nice view towards the right side especially
Decent internet/ wifi speed
We just returned from a ten day stay at the Monte Pascoal. We had a full ocean view with a lovely balcony. We slept very well with the great air conditioning in a room that was basic but clean and comfortable. Always hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Staff couldn't have been nicer. We took advantage of the World Cup amenities and several nearby bars and restaurants. Price was definitely high, because of the World Cup but overall we were very happy. Had wifi, but it was slow.

Decent hotel, clean rooms in good location. Simple but price quality relationship is correct. Location very central but a little shady at night, but nothing out of the ordinary. Staff was friendly but hotel is generally understaffed.

From start to finish a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great location a short walk from the old town part of Salvador, and features cracking views across the bay from the back of the building and the terrace (although be aware the docks do also feature quite predominantly!)
Our room was at the front but didnt suffer from any street noise, while the decor and quality of the furnishings etc was top notch. The style of the whole hotel was amazing, with unique decoration and attention to detail, and a great pool/sundeck (although small as there are only 5 rooms it was never crowded)
The staff were extremely helpful with advice and guidance, plus happy just to have a chat about anything of interest. Breakfast was varied and high quality, with pleasant service.
Overall would definitely stay at Aram Yami again

Helpful staff, notably Mario. Very nicely designed, simple and clean. A short walk up and down narrow cobblestone streets to the Church of St. Francis and other attractions. Enjoyed Samba music in historic square and relative silence at Pousada.

We needed a last-minute booking for one night only, for the first night of Carnaval this year, and this hotel provided just that - which was surprising, considering that most hotels demand a multi-night booking at such a busy time of the year. We lucked out. Very central and quiet, close to the Campo Grande center of Carnaval, on a safe street. Will return here again.
