Rooms are cozy and well furnished, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hot tub was closed when I was there, however the pool is very warm and the sauna was nice. Coffee in the morning. All in all, a great stay!

Great location and helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the resident in the room next to us was very loud all night long with the TV on the wall next to us very loud.

Great for Monarch ski trip
Wonderful motel right in the heart of Salida. We stayed with our four kids and skied Monarch for four days. This was a very convenient location and a very clean room that slept all six of us. Service was friendly and very accommodating. Will stay again next ski trip!

Updated room with great amenities and value
This room was more updated than expected with great amenities. The carpets need a deep cleaning but the room overall was clean. Great value for the money. My only complaint is that the parking spaces should be assigned by room. Unfortunately because of the size of the spaces, all the monster sized trucks parked in front of my room, making me drag all of my luggage, etc. from the other side of the complex and keeping me awake at all hours with engine noise.

The location and price were perfect for us on a long weekend getaway. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but apparently that has not been open since Covid. The staff was very nice and easy to deal with.

Convenient, tidy, and colorful motel to stay in. Fridge and microwave in room. Really enjoyed the windows on both sides of the room-- let the room air out and take in a lot of sunshine.

Pretty nice room. Outside lighting was terrible. Had to drive around to find the room number. The room had cooling but no heat that I could find. Noisy. Well set up with coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.

Third year I’ve stayed here on my annual Colorado motorcycle trip and it doesn’t disappoint. Not fancy, but has everything you need, including a pool and jacuzzi. Clean, centrally located and reasonably priced.

Great Western is a great place
