“Great place to stay”
All was good, and the breakfast was definitely better than expected. A great motel for a great price.
“Oktoberfest 2011”
Really clean, quiet and nice hotel. Great breakfast. We will stay here again.
“Decent pet-friendly place”
Good room, friendly helpful staff, and a decent breakfast. Couldn't ask for much else. And even though I'm allergic to cats, and this place is very pet-friendly, I didn't have any issues. Would stay again; better than similar discount hotels in the area.
“Overpriced”
I had to have a hotel in this area and was out of options--a lot of hotels were filled and so I went for the 'Expedia mystery hotel' which said no refunds etc... When my daughter and I arrived we noticed there were a lot of dogs on our floor and a lot of noise, barking and people loudly talking etc...this went on until all hours. The room next to ours had an arguing couple and a yappie dog that yapped everytime a car door would slam etc... I was not at all satisfied with the room. There was a blood like splotch on one of the bathroom towels so my daughter did not even shower. We could have asked for clean towels but did not have the willingness to complain etc... no sleep will do that to a person. The breakfast is excellent, and the hotel is updated and modern. The staff is professional, and I have a feeling that we just got a bad room that night.
“Okay”
Very thin walls, dated and need upgrading in all areas. Uncomfortable beds.
“just fine”
Staff was very helpful. Rooms were lovely, clean, fresh. Will definitely return if we are in Salem again.
“Will stay there in future opportunities.”
We stayed at LaQuinta while on a college visit. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine. We were very close to downtown, the university and the capital, just 10 minutes to anywhere. The only negative to our room was that the traffic is a bit noisy, especially in the morning.
“Nice hotel and even accepts dogs.”
Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Morning breakfast was good and plentiful. The location was near restaurants and shopping, and easy freeway access, but not noisy. It is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. We don't usually travel with our dog, but it is nice to know that we can if we need to. We will definetly stay here again.
“Our regular Hotel”
We stay at this hotel on a regular basis as our daughter plays basketball at a nearby college. We stayed here when it was a Holiday Inn Express prior to this year. It has always been a good place, quiet, comfortable rooms and bed, good hot breakfast. Our last stay had us next to very noisey neighbors and we asked to be moved and were moved without question. We be continuing to stay there!
“pleasant stay”
Very satisfied with La Quinta. Clean spacious rooms, delicious hot breakfasts, nice location.
