"Salamanca was just a stopping point for us in our way to Madrid. I am SO glad we did. This little walkable city was one of my favorite places in our 3 weeks of Spain and Portugal. I can’t say enough about the NH Collection Salamanca! It’s old but beautiful and the staff is top notch! The location can’t be beat and breakfast was great! We definitely hope to make it back for more than one night. "

"we stayed here 2 nights, after driving 2 days solid from Calais, we needed a break. We found this a really relaxing hotel, well positioned on the north side of Salamanca in a relatively quiet position, though seeming to be near a main road. plenty of parking inside the boundary of the hotel. Reception was very efficient and our room was excellent value. Dinner was top notch, both in the restaurant one night and in the bar the second night. Breakfast was good too. Hotel location allows you to walk into the city centre - it took us about 25 mins and a pretty straight road (downhill on the way there)"
