The property list its self as in Old Town Sacramento; it was the major reason I chose this motel. However, it was a considerable distance from the Old Sacramento area—nearly 1.5 miles. I booked and paid for my reservation online, but when I arrived, I was required to pay an additional $50 deposit. Deposits are not unusual, but their website and booking information did not list additional fee. That said, the room was very clean and updated.

I'd say I'm a pretty light sleeper or sensitive to sound, but I'm actually shocked the freeway didn't bother me much. I think the heater/ac helped drown it out, oh and about that, that worked super good!! The lady who checked me in/out was friendly and honored my wishes to stay on the street side and away from a creepy guy. You rock, girl! I felt protected within the gate, they had ample towels, parking is plentiful, shower water was hot just like I like it, the water pressure was perfect, and I got to get food from a nearby restaurant. Sure, the latch on the door seemed to be broken off, and there's a gap at the bottom of the door, but creativity goes a long way. At the end of the day, it's Motel 6, not the Hyatt. Come with an open mind and be happy you have somewhere to lay your head. Ok enough of me yapping. Thank you for leaving the light on. :-) Is that still a thing? No, but seriously, thanks for the great accommodations and friendly staff.

Sink in 120 didn’t drain. We had to brush our teeth and flush down toilet. Next morning, still didn’t drain. Was an inconvenience for us. Fire alarm in our room came in at 7 am. Thankfully we were up already to start our day. Otherwise that would have bothersome since we didn’t check in till late the night before. Would probably not return again.

The worst place I've ever stayed in my life
This motel blocked my credit card because there TV was broken and microwave was broke a worker named Alexis is a terrible worker no clean towels hair every where loud noises all night toilet dirty.tv turn black when your watching it.key was not working for room was locked out had to keep going to office still did not work a lot of tweakers.

There was no table or chair in the room. Had to use my laptop while setting up on the bed. No hot water in the shower, just very tepid. No Kleenex like tissues in the room. Window heater did not heat very well. Found how to use the sink stopper by trial and error. No lever to pull; had to hand screw it down, and then to empty the sink had to put hand in water full of whiskers and shaving cream to "unscrew" the stopper.

Best Motel 6 Ever
This is by far the nicest Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed in. The customer service was top notch and the gated parking lot added a sense of safety and security.
