"Great hotel next to Brighton station which allows for easy parking. Surrounded by shops. Great little gym and laundry facilities if you’re staying longer. Quiet, good breakfast buffet with take out cups for the coffee. Loved the clean modern rooms with kitchenettes and large bathroom. Will be staying again! "

"Convenient location by Brighton station. About 15 minute walk to the beach. Quick and friendly check-in, in a nice lobby/cafe and work area. Contemporary and clean room with everything you’d need. Beds and pillows very firm. "

"Met up with my best friend for overnight stay in Brighton. Upgraded to superor sea view room with balcony, robes etc. This was because of a function in hotel & luckily nicer room available away from noise. Reception staff really friendly & helpful. Stored our bags when we arrived too early for our room. Enjoyed our stay 👍"

"We’ve stayed at the Old Ship several times, as it tends to be the best value for money. We love the central sea front location (and are prepared to put up with a bit of city noise… the complimentary ear plugs are a nice touch), sea views are well worth paying a bit extra for, and we even enjoy the 100 year old lift …. on the occasional time it arrives before we opt for the stairs instead (it is described optimistically as ‘a bit slow’). Very pleasant staff too. Looking forward to our next stay. "
