"Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. My only suggestions to make this perfect would be to make a little more of the balconies with some high end table and chairs and some instructions for the shower, first use was interesting :) Thank you for making our break in Southend stay wonderful."

"The location was very convenient and it was quiet and peaceful and just what we needed. The rooms were simplistic but I was able to have my dog and they were so accommodating. The ambiance on an evening in the eating area was lovely and peaceful, and even outside too. It was lovely. The breakfast wasn't very nice and the food didn't taste nice, but everything else was good. "
