Room was clean, well organized, heating system worked well, great service at the desk. Price=amentities. Will use again.

“Okay But Not Impressed”

I would have rated the hotel higher if not for the smell in the elevator and my room. Upon arriving, we had to open the window with the AC still on to allow it to air out.

“Friendly, convenient, helpful”

Room had a somewhat musty smell when we first went in, and I had to jiggle the hardware in the toilet tank to get it to quit running a couple of times. Both things were reported upon checkout. Other than that we appreciated the efforts at energy/resource savings, easy access location of room, and quietness.

Hotel fit the price. Direct neighborhood was questionable, I wouldn't walk anywhere around the area, in part because there literally is nothing within walking distance. We had to drive 5-10 minutes to find restaurants and bars, which were perfectly fine. Hotel location was convenient and the price fit the hotel.

The stay was great, no complaints there. Sunday morning around 10am when I left my room, the hall was taped off by police. I was on the first floor and on the same side of the building as the front desk. The front desk had just been robbed and police had taped off everything. Luckily I was not out of my room, never mind checking out when this went down. Very bad neighborhood just up the road. Will not stay again incase I get mugged when walking my dog around outside or my car broken into. It is a shame too, such a great proximity to downtown and great price for animals.

“Surprising value convenient to capital”

I expected a low budget less than comfortable room, and was pleasantly surprised by how clean, spacious and comfortable the room was. Nice large workdesk and even a small table, plus very comfortable bed. Minimal toilitries but all in all, very good, clean value about 3 minutes from convention center.

“perfect location...i will return”

our rooms were very comfortable with a large desk for work. the only disappointment was that there was no continental breakfast, however, there were a number of places near the hotel. the desk staff was very helpful and pleasant...they knew the area and could easily give driving directions to restaurants, our training facility and getting around raleigh. i will definitely use this hotel when i return to raleigh!
